That is our reality. No matter how Dak pads his numbers, the jump from bus driver to elite has not yet been achieved.
We are middle of the pack, just phoning it in to fans, be they Spagnola cheerleaders or workaday louts who save up for cheap seats and a $20 parking fee and $25 pizzas and $10 beers.

With the kind of defense we had our offense had to score every possession and that too TDs to win games. ( our defense was famous for NOT making the other team punt at all ). With playoff caliber teams you cant afford to do that .

If we get an average to decent defense , that will be a shot in the arm by itself. Then we can play some possession foot ball, score a bit and run the ball take time off the clock etc.

But 2 things have to improve in offense immediately, ( Not counting OL , fingers crossed ) we need to start scoring early and our redzone needs to improve, we cant afford to struggle to score TDs after going all the way to redzone ( come on Kellen Moore and McCarthy ) .

QB W/L record vs winning or playoff teams is always presented without context, usually to push an agenda.

Here are some QBs with losing records vs winning teams: Aaron Rodgers, Deshaun Watson, Josh Allen, Matt Ryan, Jared Goff, Matthew Stafford, and now-retired Drew Brees. Either those guys are bums, or beating good teams requires more than just a QB.

Brady, Mahomes, Wilson, Jimmy G, and Lamar Jackson - those are your active QBs with winning records vs winning teams. That's it. Note that they've often had good defenses to back them up. Go figure.

Yup. D beats good teams/good QB's. Not the opposing QB. Eli beat Brady twice in the super bowl. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

The overall team is lacking--which is why won-loss records are deceiving.

I think we've been loaded on offense compared to most teams.
Usually a good or great line and RB. More recently great WRs but in the beginning.
The line was bad last year, but he was out and the backups had to suffer thru that fiasco.

Always been a huge supporter of the Mod's meme of Respect is earned in the Playoffs.

Whatever role the starting QB plays in attaining that is opinion I guess.

Mine is that the starting QBs role in achieving playoff success is the most important role regardless of his support.

The best tend to consistently win regardless of ideal personnel circumstances.

The majority of Daks damage comes against division teams and bottom feeding teams. It's not just playoff teams either, Daks bad against teams above .500.

And in the late 3rd and 4th quarters when we’re down by 17-20 because we’ve had to settle for FG’s in the red zone and the other team has gone into prevent.

Dak has a passer rating of 103.2 (2016) and 91.3 (2018) during his career's seasons' playoffs. Dak has not been the problem come playoff time when it's mattered the most.
