Grow up man. There is NO Karma thing. Seriously.
Yeah yeah chill out, seriously. I'm not going all Buddhism on you. It's a fun thing on a message board.

But in this case I'll go with it:

Karma:

1. Hinduism, Buddhism. action, seen as bringing upon oneself inevitable results, good or bad, either in this life or in a reincarnation

Part of the TRO rqeuirements is for the plaintiff to demonstrate irreparable harm. It's an element required for the judge to find in Zeke's favor. The brief buttresses that argument such that even if they find that Zeke is not irreparably harmed, his employer would be.

The law is a winding road my friend, they would not be making that argument if it was not in Zeke's legal best interests.

I have to think that with all these posturing moves the NFLPA and Dallas org are making to esp include the "irreparable" harm term,...they are going for the throat so to speak and going for complete exoneration rather than just a suspension reduction. Irreparable harm would really only apply to Zeke himself and the stigma it would bring as advertisers and endorsements would definitely go away.

Actually the team is also arguing that allowing the suspension to stand will cause irreparable to them as well by affecting their competitiveness and the ability to win games. They're simply saying he should not be suspended until the court decides the issue because if it finds in Zeke's favor, they can't get those games back. It's that simple from the team's standpoint. They can't go back and replay the games with him later on.

If he can get the league to vacate the suspension, his name is essentially cleared of DV, which is why he is adamantly trying to prove the flaws in the process-- AND the conspiracy angle.

Will never be tried in criminal court as DV b/c he was never arrested and prosecuted.

BUT-- they labeled him a "woman beater" on shoddy process and little evidence, so he is doing what he can to defend himself.

And I am 100% in favor of the Cowboys support for Zeke. Just think the Cowboys lawyer talking about "irreperable harm" to the team clouds the issue a bit.

Anything less than a whole in a limited season role that does apply to 1/3 of season to a league very top player. Naw, in legal terms, that is significant and lost.

I subscribe to the idea of practical karma; the idea that if you or I do nothing to help anyone in this life or you're a bad person, in all likelihood you won't get any help from anything else. That being said, there are no cosmic causes of karma

I left out the word harm in my original post.

Thanks for enlightening us on the truths of the universe. Everything is so much clearer now that you cleared that up for us.

Ah, yeah that's true didn't think of that.
Goodell is digging himself a hole, he needs to just backtrack, look a bit sheepish for two minutes and everyone is happy and he keeps his job. But I'm guessing he will dig in and double down like a total amateur. He must be taking notes from the book of how to totally fail in every way possible, lose your job, and look like a total idiot, authored of course by former FBI director Comey. Haha.
