The Dallas Cowboys are not expected to find a trade partner for veteran quarterback Tony Romo, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Possible interested teams in Romo appear unwilling to take on the 36-year-old's contract or overpay for a quarterback who has started four games during the past two seasons because of injuries, sources told Schefter.

Sources also told Schefter that the Cowboys are unwilling to trade Romo to a city in which he does not want to play. Teams interested in Romo believe the Cowboys will eventually release the four-time Pro Bowler, and are willing to wait until that happens before pursuing him as a free agent, sources said.

The thing is Romo only wants to play for the Texans or Broncos. And those are the teams that don't want to trade for him. I bet we already had picks handed over to us from other teams but Romo said no.
And I also believe that the Texans and the Broncos know about this fact that Romo is not willing to accept a trade to any other team.

He will eventually be released or retire. No one wants to give up anything for him, nor pay him much.

I never once another team would be dumb enough to trade for that contract. Don't blame Jerry, he simply has zero leverage

Than just wait until the preseason. He has no reason to panic now that $5 mill came off the books with Free.

Jerry hate in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...
I have already expressed my disgust with the most inept GM in the sport, way over it.

It is already clear and very apparent this whole scenario has been fumbled and mishandled.

Just ready for this team to move on.

The last 48 hours has been grueling and it will be worse the longer it draws out with people thinking that eventually these other teams supposedly interested will change their minds.

Jerry just needs to wait. He doesn't have to do anything right now. There is no need to rush here.

Once the offseason workouts begin, they have to do something. It would be incredibly dumb, even for Jerry Jones, to let some player with a known bad back start working out and then get hurt, leaving the team exposed to pay him.

Figures..............looks like Jerry gave it one last shot and nobody took the bait........that contract is just not tradable.

This is what happens when you restructure a contract a gazillion times, its not moveable.

Romo will be released this week, almost a given at this point..........I know you guys don't like it, but it is what it is.
