If he comes back against Philly it might be a repeat when he came back against Carolina. Give him the bye and come back against Cleveland.

Seriously this organization is insane. Cleveland is the perfect opportunity. You'd think they would learn from past mistakes.

Maybe they want Philly to put Romo out for good so the QB controversy is out of their hands.

They'd be dumb to bench a hot Dak just to put Romo back in. You can tell there's a lot of chemistry now with the team and Dak. I don't necessarily think a guy should lose his job because of injury, but I do think someone can earn their job. If Dak continues to play well I think we should stick with him.

I'm pretty sure the coaches think Romo can keep the momentum of handing off to Zeke and throwing 5 yard passes going. Romo's going in.

Of course he will, he's Jerry's boy. But I expect our INT's to go up once he goes in too.

They will give him the chance to give it a go. But if he struggles or gets injured again it's a good feeling to know Dak will be back.

What I am about to say really deserves it's own thread. But I will say it here anyway. We are NOT 3-1 with Romo this year.

This is not for people who do not really understand what they are watching. Romo...has lost a lot on his fastball...the play calling and some of the routes/throws Dak is making....Romo can no longer make. Aso, Dak is standing in the pocket STRONG. He is not even flinching in the face of a blitz. Those days are over for Romo. And I don't necessarily blame him.

I have been begging this offense to play faster. Play with more pace. Take advantage of the young legs you have on the OL. With Dak..they are doing it. Dak has energized this team....AND.....AND....this coaching staff. This coaching staff is actually COACHING!!!!!!!!

Romo has been a crutch for this entire organization for a long time. People were sitting back and letting him do all the heavy lifting. It broke his back...literally. But Dak is the REAL deal. The poise...leadership...energy....and courage is infectious. We hear people say "next man up" all the time. But Romo injuries never inspired other players to STEP UP. This entire organization and fanbase would cry in their beer at the thought of going to battle without Dez or Tyron....but NOT ANYMORE. If Dak is in the huddle...we have a chance. We USED to feel that way back in the day about Romo. But that is no longer the case. Father time catches up to everyone.

Dumbest thing I've ever read. Romo will go in and at the very least, be just fine leading a 200 yard rushing attack and throwing 2 yard passes to Cole Beasley.
I'm actually somewhat mystified that people are concerned about it. It literally doesn't matter WHO the QB is if we run the ball and get protection like that and our defense steps up. It's a stupid thing to fret about. Romo's going in.

Man, that's kinda risky.

Eagles are definitely in the discussion for best defense in the NFL so far this year. Do you really want Tony coming in cold for this game?

I wouldn't.

My fear with Romo is putting him back in midseason after 10 weeks (not games, but actual weeks) of inactivity.

I don't care if he's Johnny Unitas. You're not going to be at your peak coming back into the fold midseason like that.

We're not being fair as fans if we expect him to come in and throw for 280, 3 scores and a 120 QB rating right out of the gate. Much less against a fine defense like Philly. And if he predictably struggles -- as most players in his situation would -- I'm afraid of how ugly things could get.

Please let me represent almost every Romo fan when I say; we love Romo but we love the Cowboys more so we are blessed to have the Dak Attack!!

We are not invested in hating a quarterback. That's the difference.

No longer do we have to fear losing Romo. If it happens we are in good hands with Dak.
