Well if they want to get paid during the season, they will commit to practice and playing in games. Until I see reports that players aren't practicing hard or doing what Garrett wants in practice for the real games.

I, too, will be awaiting some good reports with great anticipation. If all goes swimmingly in TC and the regular season, I'll breathe much easier, as opposed to awaiting their success with bated breath, as so many of us are currently. ;)

Cowboys running back Darren McFadden will have to pay his own way to California.

McFadden missed the team charter Saturday afternoon, according to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News. He called team officials to tell them he was running late and won’t face a fine as long as he arrives by 2 p.m. PT Sunday when players are required to arrive.

McFadden, though, will have to buy a commercial flight to Southern California.

Cornerback Orlando Scandrick, defensive lineman David Irving and rookie cornerback Jourdan Lewis also weren’t on the team charter.

Scandrick, who lives in L.A. in the offseason, flew back to California on a commercial flight Friday after flying into DFW for a physical and a conditioning test earlier in the day.

Irving failed to report to The Star and faces a $40,000 fine for an unexcused absence, but he (Irving) is in California.

not a big deal the only one is irving who may have been avoiding his drug test?
Otherwise this is meaningless report.

With that being the case, it looks like this year is heading for a down cycle.

I'm not liking these red flags at all -- high time for the FO to kick some butt.
"I don't give a crap" attitudes are becoming way to commonplace.
No red flags except Irving.
It is TC being late isn't a big deal.
He may miss Garrett's 1st speech which
May be a good thing lol.

With the way things are going for us he missed the plane because he was beating up women on video, clubbing baby seals, and urinating in Goodells yard.

This has been a very annoying offseason.

A lot of this stuff isn't a big deal but it kind of paints a picture as to what the players mindset is headed into the season.

I'm expecting a down year based on everything I've seen. I hope I'm wrong but the players just seem like they invested a lot last year and this year they aren't ready to commit.

Of course I hope I'm wrong. We deserve better as fans because our emotions have been put through the ringer with this club.

Its not hard to feel that way considering we havent had back to back winning seasons in FOREVER.

I saw more red flags than Irving's, although his was probably the most obvious. Garrett isn't about to win any popularity awards for his press conferences, though. He can easily put multitudes of folks to sleep without even trying.

All these clowns should be terrified. Witten is going to rip into them. Half joking but I expect our veteran leaders will have words for this team about focusing and recommiting.

Man can we just get through one more day, get through today. Then HOPEFULLY we can get to some real football threads.
But hoping for that is like hoping the 1889 team was going to win the SB.

This is definitely not a Jimmy Johnson crafted team. Jimmy would have kicked butt and taken names. There is way too much
lax commitment to this team and team goals by some of these players. Time to take out the trash and determine who are the
new treasures.

Irving would not be a Cowboy if JJ still roamed the sidelines for Dallas

No one (outside world) really gave a squat what we did last year coming off a down year, but after going 13-3, all eyes of the world are on every Cowboys thing that goes on. If you're on the Cowboys roster, be prepared to be followed to the restroom.
