to quote one J Mincey, Romo is not our savior. What he is a better coach of offense than we have right now on the staff. He is a much better QB than either back-up, not even close.

IF we get a team effort: decent running game and OL play, and the D holds up, the DALLAS COWBOYS will compete in all the remaining games and win a lot of them.

Will we win the East? I say a less than 50% chance.
But it will be much more fun to watch and this site a more enjoyable place to visit.

If Tony stays healthy 4-3 to 3-4 is possible. If he's injured again 2-5 to 1-6 is realistic.

I really don't like thinking like this, but...come on guys and gals! Romo is not going to just come in and propel this team to a SB, or even a playoff spot unless it might be a wild card. Yeah, some in the media say the Cowboy are still in it. Well, they are not in it this season.

I have been one of his biggest supporters since he became the starter, but come on Cowboy fans! You are asking to much from him at this point in time. Romo is going to lose a game or two, maybe more, and when he does, all hell is going to break loose and he is going to be accused for trying his best. He is going to throw some INT's, he's going to make mistakes, and he is going to do some things in a loss that some here that are praising him are going to call for Cassel to come back in because Romo did this or did that.

Sure, it's fun to read his tweet about "Winning the whole ******* thing", but it's not going to happen...just saying.

This team is in turmoil...and Romo is not just going to waltz in and steal every teams girlfriend and win a SB. If you are honest, you know it just as well as I do. Saying all that, I will be here with all of you watching, but, it's over at this point in time.

If I were the coach, (lol)...I would just let Cassel go through the motions and see if he can win a game or two in the next few games because, bless his heart, Romo is not going to be the Savior that a lot of fans think he can. It's just not going to happen this season.

But, as always, like us all of us fans...I will be watching every step of the way.

Cowboys on three...make it LOUD!

I don't think we'll qualify for the post season, but I disagree that Tony doesn't make that kind of difference. Struggles and all, we'd likely be no worse than a 6-3 team with Tony on the field the last 7 weeks. If things were to start clicking in the stretch run, anything could happen.

Which is why this stretch has been so completely frustrating.

I did not say he won't make a difference...he just won't make that much of a difference to help this team get to where some of us fans think he can.

It's over this season. All, I have right now is hoping that the Cowboys can spoil someone's seasons in the NFCe. lol

The difference between 5 wins and 5 losses during that 7 game streak really hasn't been more than a play or two per game. With QB as our position of greatest obvious weakness. I don't think it's a stretch to say he's likely to change that.

I agree with you that it's very likely too late to matter. We needed at least one more win during this stretch to have a reasonable shot, imnsho.
