As long as the head coach is on board, I don’t see the problem in letting him try out (no guaranteed money). If he can’t play, you cut him in training camp. He had been battling through depression and anxiety, so making sure that his head is right would be important. We are not in position as a team that we could not benefit from talent at any position. The question is, does he still have any? Before someone jumps in and says,”yes or no,” I will express my opinion that no one truly knows where he will be come training camp.
