Why would we replace Flo? He's 35, that's when OLmen start to peak. He's in the prime is his career. He keeps his body like a 17 year old ... just like TO does. He can play for another 10 years. Give him a HUGE extension and lock him up until he's 45.

FLO is done, man.. He's been declining for a few years now.

I agree with what you said but since Flo has one more year left on his contract what's wrong w/ letting him back-up Free? I know he's everyone's whopping boy but I'd rather have him as a back-up than somebody like Pat.

Because FLO is one of the best LT's that's ever played for the Cowboys and it would be disrespectful of the Cowboys to ask him to be a " back up ". It's like asking Emmitt Smith to be a back up. Great franchises who respect their star players don't do that. If he wants to continue playing, he should be allowed the chance to do so somewhere else and the franchise's best move would be to give him that choice, but he's not playing up to his contract status anymore and who knows how that cap is going to look like in 2011. Now, if there's a cap in 2010, then the Cowboys will not have a choice on the matter ( they'll have to keep him ), but if there isn't, they should let him go.
