CATCH17;3097026 said:Because Newman put his hand on Campos Bosom.
Dallas;3097040 said:Newman did blow the tackle and Campo was in his right to get in his face. Newman didn't like it and they had a small bump fest. It was nothing. It was literally nothing. Both were heated. It isn't like Newman took Campo out on the sidline w/ a Brainbuster or anything.
Typical Dallas media
Was Newman right in doing it? No
Was it a big deal? No
Think Wade will handle it? Yes and I think it will be done in house where no pathetic hack of a journalist can run and make something out of it that it isn't.
Does this make Wade weak? Of course not.

ShiningStar;3097050 said:IM glad Campo did it, I want some fire on that sideline. Doesnt have to be Phillips and he doesnt have to be firey to control a situation. you pay the OTHER coaches to do their jobs and Campo has to make sure Newman does his job, however Campo goes about it, get those guys to produce. And our DB's are producing. Hats off to Campo for that one. Doing what i was hoping he would do and what he does well, coordinate and keep that particular part of the team rolling well. If they get Scandrick up to speed and make something out of Ball, and Mike Hamlin, all the better. If he has to light those players up with a flame thrower in his hands, have at it.

I was like, wow. That is one fiery little poodle.?
Bull Frog;3097080 said:Parcell's punched Todd Haley on the sidelines. Stuff happens. So what?
Idgit;3097082 said:You couldn't see it on tv, but live in the stadium it was obvious. Campo lifted his leg and peed on Newman and then Newman pushed him.
Doomsday101;3097069 said:Even when Landry was here you did not see him blow up on the sideline, however his assistant coaches like Dan Reeves and Mike Ditka would go ballistic especially Ditka
ShiningStar;3097098 said:Exactly, respect for your position and team. Good call Dooms.
Doomsday101;3097114 said:Position coaches are normally harder because they are with their groups all the time. They also build closer relationships. Best thing Newman could have done is drop it and move on and he pretty much did.
Talking about it at this point only give the appearance that there is something wrong.
This is what would get TO in trouble is not letting it go instead he would start talking to the media about it and what could have been water under the bridge ends up being the leading story on sports center.

MacMahon Shows Weakness by Whoring His Opinions to ESPN's Template
ShiningStar;3097126 said:I agree, I think Newman was classy for not going to the media and saying stuff. IF he does have a gripe, let him talk it out with Campo. If he says "yes, i was wrong Campo got on me for doing wrong" it still sends a message, let the two talk it out behind doors.
Campo has been good even in his second tour here. Im glad hes here, i have more faith in our dbs lately. But if someone has to get firey, let it be the other coaches, I dont want my HC out there acting a fool and punching or putting down the players, its a bad sign to everyone.
I like that Wade is calm and shows respect and dignity on the sidelines and not acting like a kid and screaming and texting to his woman that the man isnt siding with him.
Just stand there and let your coaches do their thing. If you have beef, talk with them afterwards, if they arent doing their jobs (Bret Maxie) than fire them or put them on warning. Something that says this organization has class and dignity and does things the right way.
