You also insisted the Cowboys would be as good, if not better, with Dalton at QB while those of us who have actually watched him play since he left TCU knew better.
Pardon me if I don't genuflect to your self-perceived QB wisdom.
I said we would get similar results and we have. The team is winning at about the same rate with Dalton as they did with Dak..
If both guys played out an entire season I have no doubt they would get similar results.. Hall of Fame coach Jimmy Johnson also believed this and myself and Jimmy based it on things like this..
Dalton is one of ten quarterbacks in NFL history to have thrown for over 3,000 yards in each of his first three seasons and one of only six to throw at least 20 touchdowns over the same span.
Dalton is the only quarterback to lead the Bengals to five consecutive playoff berths, and one of five quarterbacks to lead his team to the playoffs in each of his first five seasons. He is also the Bengals franchise record holder for passing yards in a season, passing touchdowns in a season, and career passing touchdowns.

So yes I have no doubt if everything was optimal like Dak needs than Dalton could get similar results.
Is Dak better? Absolutely.
Would we be a game or 2 better with Dak? I think so but who knows.
Does either guy change the outcomes of games? No.. They both go as their team goes.
