Tyson Jackson? Really? How many names are going to be linked to the Cowboys before the draft?

It's waaay too early to tell. Who knows what the Cowboys will do in April?

Johnson may very well be a RT at some point. He has the long arms and frame to do it. He has upside. He can improve his feet and agility which are pretty good at guard right now. Johnson is a linear player with great strength and power on the football field. His play is good enough to earn him second round status. Not many guards go in round one, and this guy was being talked about as a first rounder before the season started. He's a steal in round 2, imo.

You're grading him too high and mostly because of his size. The Cowboys can get better, more polished, players than him where they'll be picking. Everybody is a project in the draft, but some are more ready than others and Johnson is one of those who need more time than others.

By the way, I liked DeSean Jackson when everyong was killing him due to his size.

The first time I saw DeSean was in the Army All Star game in San Antonio as a highschool player. On one of his first plays, he catches an out pass towards the left sideline and puts a move on the CB that nearly broke the guy's ankles. The guy's shoes are probably still stuck in the Alamo Dome's turf today. Right then and there ( which was 4 years ago, iirc ) I became a fan and have been touting him ever since.

Of course, he went on to follow it by a BONE head play of diving 5 yards from the endzone, after catching a bomb, in which he fumbled the ball and the defense got the ball back.

Still, he, pretty much, dominated that game despite being only a WR and a 5'10 WR at that.

if the cowboys do this, this is why they are dumb, when canty got hurt, the defense suffered, now your talking about using a top draft pick on a position that takes 2 to 3 years to learn, and you could have signed canty and used that top pick on a need,

we need more help at offensive line, safety and linebacker, not at defensive end

and most likely a young speedy wr and punt returner

What is dumb is paying Canty the $8 mill per year he wants. That is highway robbery for a DE with only 10 career sacks.

Let him walk and draft the rookie, he cant be that much worse.
