Guesstimated "stats" don't tell the story of Flozell Adams any more than they did Roy WilliamsOU.
Flozell may give up less sacks than others, but a big reason is because, whatever you may think of Romo, he has been one of the great escape artists at QB the last few years. That's a luxury the guy in NY didn't have.
The "one-armed" excuse for Flozell doesn't cut it. He's underachieved throughout his career, and last year wasn't a whole lot different than many before it. The author was right about one thing, that Flo was fantastic in 2003. If memory serves, that wasn't a contract year, that was the first year of a new contract. Since then, he's been inconsistent and injured. Sometimes he's been brilliant, yet sometimes sluggish and overmatched against average DEs.
I'd look forward to the day he's replaced, except the organization has shown no ability to draft OL the last several years, especially at tackle.
