If you're going to replace Ken Hamlin, replace him with Alan Ball until Mike Hamlin or another young guy is ready to go.

Starters and key reserves we've drafted or signed as rookie free agents:

Romo, Barber, Jones, Choice, D Anderson, Witten, Bennett, Phillips, Austin, Crayton, Ogletree, Hurd Adams, Gurode, Free, Spears, Ratliff, Bowen, Hatcher, Ware, Spencer, James, Butler, Newman, Jenkins, Scandrick, Ball, The Buehler

It's a good thing that you've referred to him as The Beuhler. To do otherwise would warrant death by placekicking.

Yes, he would tee you up, and kick you off. Of earth.

I really hope we are not stupid enough to think Mays is the answer.

Amen... He's a total liability in coverage, ask the Foreskins about their head hunter, Landry.

I've got it.

I've got it.

Here you go, Tampa Bay.

The Buehler for the # 3 pick.

I'll throw in Proctor, McQuistan, and 3 scrubs to be named later.

With the # 3 pick, the Cowboys take Eric Berry, SS/FS/CB Tennessee.

The Bucs would jump all over that deal. :)

Where is that Tampa Bay fan who comes on here when I need him?

What about this:

Roy Williams (I know the contract will not work for them.) Dreaming here.
Marcus Spears
Martellus Bennett
Kyle Kozier
# 27 First Round Pick

for

Tampa Bay's # 3 pick

That will net you a Hall of Fame player if he stays healthy.

Eric Berry S/CB Tennessee

I know many will think I'm crazy for calling Berry a Hall of Famer when he hasn't played a down in the NFL. However, who told you Jenkins was better than Scandrick in 2008? Who told you Anthony Henry, Roy Williams, and Greg Ellis needed the boot after the 2007 season?

Berry is the best defensive player to ever dawn the orange and white. Reggie White, Shaun Ellis, Dale Carter, John Henderson, Albert Haynesworth, Jerod Mayo, Al Wilson, Leonard Little, Deon Grant, Chuck Smith, ect... Only Peyton Manning ranks higher if you rate the all-time greats at Tennesse IMO, and that is because he is a quarterback. I knew Manning was a Hall of Fame player, too. It was only a matter of time. Manning reminded some of Johnny Unitas.

Berry was ready for the NFL as a true Sophomore and he has twin brothers playing football and Berry says they are both ahead of him at their age.
O.K. I know it is a dream. They would ask for Mike Jenkins first. :lmao2:

Can't do that. Jenkins could become the best in the NFL. He already is one of the top ones, imo. Blue-chip CBs don't grow on trees, and I got him at number 25. He had a top 15 grade. Jenkins is a flat out stud. Next...

Then, they will ask for Felix Jones.

 Can't do that. :lmao:See Ya. I got him at 22, and he had a top 15 grade. He's just getting started. What is he, 22 years old? He's young and has low, low, mileage. He can get you a 100 on 9 carries. Jason Garrett, give him at least 15, and you will get your 150+ yards and 2 TDs. When he gets to that 12, 13, 14, 15, 16,... He is going to bust one. He's just too dangerous. Explosive, speed, power, elusive, unreal instincts and vision.

Next...

Then, they will ask for Miles Austin.

Nope. Can't take away Romo's new toy. Can you say Pro Bowl, number 1 WR who wasn't even drafted. Oh, yeah. No big deal. Romo was't drafted. Had'em all the way. ;)

I don't want to trade Choice or Scandrick.

I need some more ammunition.

We need to make a deal with another team to get a player Tampa Bay would want.

Seriously though. Does anyone think Mays is a FS? His tools scream in the box SS. His 40 time is impressive but safeties usually keep everything in front of them not running in a straight line with the wr.(which I don't think he can run with a wr anyway)

Naw he is a SS

As much as I want to get rid of Hamlin the worst thing we could do is take Mays.

How would you guys feel if Earl Thomas is sitting there and Dallas takes Taylors Mays over Earl Thomas????

I didn't actually take that interpretation away from that article. It sounds to me like they feel that they can get a great player in Allen in the second round instead of trying to reach for a player like Mays in the first.

Yeah, hopefully that is what was meant. But poorly conveyed by Mosely.
