Until he appeals a 4 game decision on a Cowboys player and ups it to 12 games.... you won't be clapping then.Good.

4Six games for now 20 plus women complaints, doesn't pass the smell test.......
Mike vick cool though....He shouldn’t ever play in the NFL again like Greg Hardy or Ray Rice (not comparing offenses here) but the Browns are so desperate they are willing to look past the reprehensible actions to win a few games.
Where you been?I don't understand what's happening. They are appealing to who? Why didn't this punishment get handed out by Goodell like all the others?
I guess by letting arbitration happen it gives solid cover for a lenient suspension, but if the NFL wants more punishment then just dish it out. Seriously, who's going to stop them?
Actually Watson's team was ecstatic with the ARBITRATORS decision. It depends on who is looking at the appeal. If this was a legal case, his appeal would be weak. But it isn't. Watson's team has to make their case against this arbitrator's opinion. In this case, the person taking the appeal can make any decision he wants.
I knew you were coming out... you were incognito on the arbitrators ruling.. lolGreat news !!

Yea..... these woman would much rather watch the bachelor where woman are treated with some respect and dignity. Then after the bachelor they can switch over to real housewives of NJ, maybe followed by 50 shades of grey. Now thats a good night of entertainment. Why????????????? The NFL has been trying to get women viewers for decades and along comes this serial women abuser, who visited women masseuses and sexually abused them non-stop and the NFL is backing this sick prick???????? No wonder the league is loaded with nothing but drugies, women abusers, tax cheaters, etc, the NFL welcomes these types with open arms. Personally, it wouldn't surprise me if I flipped a game on in Cleveland and didn't see one woman in the stands since they had the gull to sign the serial abuser to a contract that should be paid out to all the women these piece of crap abused! If there are any decent players left in the league, they would refuse to take the same field if the abuser is on it!
NoSo does this prove that the league doesn't go out of their way to target Cowboys' players (Zeke)?
Bottom line is Roger has the authority to do pretty much anything he wants. I fully expect an entire season suspension. Im not positive if they can fine him more than missed game checks to deal with the end around wTsons team did with this year's salary.I messed that post up. I meant the NFL, and I put Watson instead.
Because Roger will never cede power to anyone.Don't see how this isn't setting a bad precedent. You hire an arbitrator who is instructed to follow your own rules, and then appeal the decision? Why, she followed the letter of the law that the NFL set out?
This is weird. The NFL is appealing the punishment. I can’t wait to see how they explain the additional 11 games. The arbitrator did a good job explaining why Watson was guilty but also did a good job of explaining his 6 game suspension instead of more.It depends on who is looking at the appeal. If this was a legal case, his appeal would be weak. But it isn't. Watson's team has to make their case against this arbitrator's opinion. In this case, the person taking the appeal can make any decision he wants.

Didn’t the league turn a 2 games suspension of La’el Collins to 6. I still don’t understand how that happened.Until he appeals a 4 game decision on a Cowboys player and ups it to 12 games.... you won't be clapping then.
I agree that he should be suspended for longer than 6 games. What I don't understand is why the song and dance of having an arbitrator make a decision only to over ride it. What a waste of time and resources. Why pay an arbitrator to do a job if you're going to dismiss what she says if you don't agree with it.The NFL was NEVER going to let him play a game this year. Anyone who thought the NFL was ever not going to appeal this was crazy. The NFL realizes how bad a look he is and was starting an initiative against sexual assault to fix their image and that is meaningless if the face of sexual assault in the NFL is playing this year.
More like see you in courtSee you in 2023 Deshaun
I don’t know exact numbers, but I think it went from 4 to 5 or 4 to 6...it definitely wasn’t a two game suspension. He appealed their suspension, and I think more info came out about him trying to bribe the drug tester and they upped his suspension.Didn’t the league turn a 2 games suspension of La’el Collins to 6. I still don’t understand how that happened.
It’s a required process of the CBAI agree that he should be suspended for longer than 6 games. What I don't understand is why the song and dance of having an arbitrator make a decision only to over ride it. What a waste of time and resources. Why pay an arbitrator to do a job if you're going to dismiss what she says if you don't agree with it.
Anyway I felt as was BS on the league that Ben Roethlisberger got to play again when Ray Rice didn't. But I also feel Watson shouldn't play again or at minimum play this season. I just wish the league was consistent and had some form of logical decision making.
No, to me Mara complaining about the Commanders and the Cowboys "circumventing" the salary cap in 2010 and Goodell punished 2 teams in the same division as Mara shows a bias against the Cowboys and Commanders. Or favoritism to Mara. This situation proves the Commish has an idea in his mind of what he wants as punishment and if an investigator (Zeke) or an arbitrator (Watson) makes a decision he'll over ride it with his original idea. He wastes time and resources. So does this prove that the league doesn't go out of their way to target Cowboys' players (Zeke)?
