I said that two years ago BEFORE the two playoff losses to the 49ers.

Not totally backtracking, I still call Dak a top ten QB and I still think he's the Cowboys' best chance at winning right now. But when I said that in October 2021 the Cowboys were on an absolute tear and Dak was putting up elite numbers.

If I was a prisoner of the moment, then I plead guilty.

Not denying that, as I said the same thing about other posters after last year, as it became pretty obvious that Dak wasn't anywhere near "elite". I'm just bringing the evidence that this was in fact a standard position here. Another poster also called him elite and had him in the top 5, at most 6.

Fair enough. To be honest I think the word "elite" needs to be reserved for guys like Mahomes and Burrow.

Not slighting Dak, just that I am also guilty of throwing that word around more than I should too.

I don't know where you get your information from, but I never said Dak was elite. I know your trolling and really don't have anything better to do in life, but saying that someone said something which he or she didn't is just beyond childish and immature.
