1 ahead of Tua….. it’s like they had nobody else to pick from…. lmaooo..
NFL personnel, from players to coaches to scouts/execs, all ranked Dak as a top 10 QB this offseason.

I know I'd feel humiliated if the experts on a topic I was passionate about considered me to be a know-nothing dolt.

Keep your head up, big guy.

……bunch of biased crap. The epic playoff performances suggest he’s more like top 5

as opposed to brady, peyton, arod, rivers, brees, big ben, romo, kurt warner, favre etc?
Absolutely. But other than Rodgers, those guys aren’t on that list either. That list is pretty bleak IMO.

Are you saying that based on potential?
No. I think he’s a great QB. He has potential to become an elite QB. I think he will. Throw his first year out the window. That was a dreadful coaching staff. I think he’s going to shine even more with Ridley there. Time will tell.

Im not going to haggle over what great means.

Lawrence finally had one good year last year and it was nothing spectacular. I agree he is a great QB in the making, but he hasnt been great yet.

That team is definitely getting better.

The playoff issues predate Dak. This franchise just isn’t built to win when it counts. That starts with the President, Owner, and GM.

LOL.. tua is garbage and hasn’t come close to even finishing a single season in his 3 years.. dude was 0-4 to end his season last year, tossing 3 picks and on 1 of this games threw for 35% on 10 of 28…

Why would I be quivering about Dak being 1 better spot than Tua? A least you guys have moved on from he's "elite" and "top 5"... LOL
LOL!!! Literally nobody here called him "elite" or "top 5."

Pro-Dak posters have always had him ranked EXACTLY in the same tier that NFL personnel ranked him in: very good-but-not-great, top 10.

You're moving the goalposts because you feel foolish, you poor sap.

Can't be easy knowing NFL personnel would laugh you right out of the room.

Last two seasons in a row have ended with Prescott losing to a QB that's NOT on the listed in the top 12.
Didn’t realize Dak played said QBs one-on-one.

Think you meant to say he lost to a top five defense each of the last two seasons.

Yes, they did. They had him above Josh Allen, when Allen was in the top 5.

who cares? people around here had romo above big ben when he was top 5.heck there were people that thought he was better than rodgers or at least on par with him. people like who they like and are probably going to elevate them more than they should.

I would say that when the analyst have you top 10 you most likely are. When the coaches have you top 10 you most likely are. Ranking dont mean squat really and teams win championships not individuals. Me im going to enjoy the ride regardless of results.

It does when you look at the management of the team, which is what I’m doing it. Results matter, except here, I guess.
Ok then go back to when Jerry actually bought the team. It's a stupid point that can apply to just about every franchise if you're going to pick and choose timelines and it means nothing for the success of this team now or in the future.

What's your response if I said "Patriots tied for last in the league in playoff wins since 2019!?"

Here is another guy that used to tell us constantly how Dak was elite @JJHLH1 and told us how people that criticized Dak didn't know what they were talking about.

@Rockport also declared him elite.

Wow, nice work. I stand corrected. When did they bring back the search function here?

@JJHLH1 at it again with his top 5, calling him elite, even better than Herbert.

My buddy @CarolinaFathead had a stretch of play where he thought he could rub Dak in, in that same thread about how we were all so wrong about Dak. How did that work out:

So I have been telling you that this forum always has folks that playing denial. The majority of this forum used to praise Garrett as the "next Tom Landry" and there were only a few critics, including myself and we used to get bashed for it. Then as they proceeded to realize they couldn't defend Garrett anymore, after about year 8 and they needed excuses for Dak, they said he was the main problem in Dallas. The fact is the Dakazoids were all up on Dak "elite" status and saying he was top 5 in 2021 was the norm on this forum. It waqs not unusual to read Dak being "elite" here. In fact. when Moore began his tenure here, they basically proclaimed Dak MVP and Moore was a real OC and it was only Linehan holding him back. But of course that no longer works, so Moore became the scapegoat.
