Look "Bud", this is a matter of opinion, not right and wrong.

You want to blindly cheer for the guy?

Feel free.

I have a mind of my own and I make my own decisions.

You'll just have to accept the fact that not everyone thinks the same way you do.
If its a matter of opinion and not right and wrong then why do you use the word "blindly" to those with a different opinion? Hipocrite!

Trust me I figured that out long ago.

I was just saying I am glad that I don't have to say, "I cheer for the Cowboys, but ... "

Or "I am a Cowboys fan, except for ... "

Or "I am behind the Cowboys, other than ... "

I am glad I don't have to deal with that stuff, ... it would bum me out if I did.

And I have a mind of my own, and I make my own decisions, ... I have just chosen to to cheer for every Cowboy, ... "Bud"

I respect your opinion, I hope you'll do the same for me.

OMG..>Wilbon got it! (on PTI on SportsCenter)

I swear, Kornheiser is spinning this like god was speaking through Bill Parcells and detailing to the team the secret a life and a cure for cancer.

"It still could be bad." --Kornheiser <<==leaving the door open for later whining and criticism. Rediculous

Go Cowboys!

they talked about this on nfl live earlier today and Darren woodson called it disrespectful and that dallas should get rid of TO at the end of the year.

When TO said this was it in a locker room with a bunch of reporters or was it in a one on one interview. Cuz they just showed a one on one interview with him saying the same thing and he sounds serious, he doesnt sound like he is playing around

Well, yeah, I get you Woody said at the end of the year. It would take a major incident to rid ourselves of him right now.

You know, Woody has been very VERY 'moderate' on the "Owens is a distraction' issue all year.

He hasn't defended Owens, but he has said more than once the media has faned the flames over nonsense. At least at the start of the season, he was saying that.

If he nows feel differently, he must know something about the general feeling towards Owens on the team...Woody's someone who really does have 'sources'.

It's a clip from the full interview which is supposed to be shown during NFL Countdown on Sunday morning. It does appear he's being more serious in this conversation...

That said, Cowlishaw said something on ATH this afternoon that justified it a bit. Apparently the speech was for the guys who have no experience in the playoffs or what it takes to get to a Super Bowl. TO has been there, he knows what it takes.

No problem.

I'm all ears regardless of when Woody says it.:D
And I take your word for it, anyway, even if they
cut it out for an update.

The consensus from the NFL Live crew is that TO is jealous of the attention Tony is getting...and hence the recent spate of mouth offs and the interview with MI this week.

That excerpt was sickening - Mike asks Owens why he doesn't go the 'extra mile' to avoid the problems, and he answers with the 'I was betrayed", they 'leaked stuff' again.

Love it when someone is asked to explain their behavior and responds that the real crime was letting the behavior be known.

And in the thick of a play off race to be going on national tv whining that your've been betrayed by the Cowboys (or even one person on it) quite flatly stinks.

But it's attention - and that's all this clown wants. Too bad if Tony is the real story in Big D now.

It seemed pretty obvious to me that TO was being "tongue in cheek" with his comments. Personally, I thought it was somewhat childish, but I also thought it was harmless...

ESPN took that story and ran with it. It was one of the leads on every show, and there was no substance to it. Like I said, he seemed to be joking.

Somewhere though, TO saw himself on tv again and got to thinking about how much he missed being the main story. He just can't help himself, so he went and tried to make it an actual story. He starts talking about his routine" and his birthday. Basically, he wants it to be all about him.

So here you go, Bill can talk about this and legitimize the story. Romo can be annoyed that TO is stealing his thunder. The lockerroom can get jealous and upset that TO is a distraction and getting headlines...

But I'm betting that no one talks about it. I'm guessing it doesn't faze any of them. I'm thinking TO is quickly reaching that weird stage of "Manny being Manny" (like Bostons fans hear). Basically, I think the only people that really care are TO and ESPN. Everyone else just wants to win football games, and this franchise will be smart enough to use him to help reach that end.

TO was obviously messing with the media.

I believe TO and the Tuna are a lot closer than the media thinks or makes the relationship out to be.

ESPN is a joke, I saw a snippet of TO saying he was "betrayed" out of context and it appears he was just rehashing the Todd Haley feelings from earlier in the season with Michael Irvin. ESPN was desperate to make these remarks appear like breaking news or another rift brewing, they are dishonest journalists.
