ESPN and FOX are great places to turn to if you want optimism for any Cowboys upcoming season including this one. I can’t find any real indication that they will be better, or that I shouldn’t laugh my arse off when they are projected as a high possibility Super Bowl team.

If the actual offensive line moves is a net positive and not a negative vs last year, and they find a way to be much better against the run, then that would be an indication for me.
ESPN hates the Cowboys who are you kidding.

Sure, a lot of things can happen with what we already have. But we'd need a lot of positive outcomes to take any significant leap from last year. It's a shame too, because the NFC isn't all that great. No more Rodgers, Brees, and Wilson is up there drinking Iron City beer. And who knows, the 49ers could suck this year.
True and especially major injuries. There hasn't been much convo, but we were very healthy last season as a team by standards.

What do you mean eventually?

We’ve won 4 in 28 years! Doesn’t get much better than that!
Eventually means soon like as early as this year. Of course you negative nuts don't believe it. Just like they didn't believe it when Landry lost it and Jones bought the team.

The Cowboys will probably be starting two rookies on the offensive line.

Overall, their running attack was very average and their best RB from last season left. The RB squad now is comprised of no names and a fast declining Zeke

Basically, the Cowboys will be running a one dimensional offense around one receiver and a TE. Their 2nd receiver is 30 and had his 3rd least receptions in 2023 in his ten year career.

The defense is changing with a new DC. They have difficulty defending the run. This season they have overhauled the LB squad

That’s what I’m asking what tape? Seems like every year around this time San Fran and Philly gets all the love.
If you're really interested I encourage you to spend three minutes googling it up. I am surprised this seems controversial to you. Doesn't it stand to reason that a team coming off 12 win seasons, with apparent improvements, be thought of as top tier SB contenders?

The Cowboys will be one of the league leaders in offense.

They love them. Ratings. You really think Steven A hates them? Spears? Every show spotlights the Cowboys cuz it pays their bills.

What you may want is for them to love the Cowboys.

Jeez, I have to explain everything. ESPN hates the Cowboys with all the coverage they give them is mostly negative.

One team wins every year. I think the best Chiefs team was the one that lost to the Bucs.
Yes but my point is it’s usually one of the best teams in the nfl that year that win. Not some out of the blue team

Like a team thar has won 12 games 3 years in a row.
Many people consider a 3 year stretch of success in the NFL a winning ‘window’…and most don’t stay open much longer than that. Some could argue the Cowboys missed theirs. This year will tell that tale

Correct. Typical a 1 or 2 seed. Absolutely spot on. Everyone in here thought we had a chance last season. And we folded like cheap clothes.
