He is putting up quite good numbers for an AFL2 team, lol.
Its really sad what he did to himself and of course this team.

I hadn't heard about that. Thanks

Said it once and I'll say it again. The very best thing that could happen to this man is that football forgets about him. Some people can handle the kind of fame a proffesional football career brings and some can't. I just think Quincy is one of those guys who can't. I wish him well but I also wish he'd get out of football, find something else to make a living at and straighten his life out. JMO

I totally agree, he needs to move on with his life away from the game.

Whatever coach or GM wants to bring Quinthy in for a workout just needs to make an appointment with his Doc to have a brain scan done. In fact forget the appointment take him to the ER.

I think the best thing that could happen to him is that he moves to Amsterdam :muttley:

I find it hard to believe even Matt Millen would be this dumb.

I bet it is New England. He will replace Vinny as the #3 guy. It has come full circle. Or is that a figure 8 on its side?:lmao:

As "crazy" as everyone thinks it would be for a team to bring back Quincy Carter, I'd bet he could outplay a number of current NFL starters.

Rex Grossman, for example.

Absopotly. You can use dope, sell it, use it as an enema, knit socks with it, etc. Carter would be so happy in Amsterdam. He'd be like Homer in that dream he had where he was prancing around in the land of chocolate.

I actually had the pleasure of meeting Tony Romo once, spoke to him briefly. I brought up Quincy Carter and he......................JUST LAUGHED. Tony KNEW he was gonna take Quincy's job when he was a rookie. I mean, he just laughed, like Quincy was a joke. Which in fact turned out to be exactly the case.

That is the case, but until a QB around these parts win a play off game, they are no better career wise.

Honestly people, Carter's career may have a lot left in the tank. Nobody really knows what the right coach could do with him. Here, he was fragile as it was, and Parcells certainly didn't help that problem, but he was still defying odds. Someone said KC, and yea I could honestly see a guy like Herm being someone who could get under his skin in the right way. Or maybe even Norv in SD. All we heard about when he was here was what a hard worker he was and the hours he'd put in. Something that just tickled many of us pink after the debacle of qbs we had gone through since Aikman. So it's not like he's not doing the work required by a qb, he just basically cracked under Parcell's hard nose tactics. Which come one people, Simms, Bledsoe and a handful of other qbs in this league of past and present can attest to that. Parcells is not an easy guy to work for. In fact, I'd wager 90%+ of the people here would also eventually crack if Bill was your Boss and constantly breathing down your neck 24/7. And everything that's happen since then is because nobody gave him that much needed supporting cast. Just imagine how messed up half this league's players would be without that helping hand to hold along the way during rough times. Quincy was virtually just dropped on his face. But of course, the world's cherry, and only 1 out of a zillion have difficulties ever (Vick, Pac-Man, Quincy, Ricky Williams, the end)- the rest of the world is perfect. Isn't that right zone? You guys are perfect. So perfect, you're dogs and you smell your number 2's right after. Nose buried. Lol.
