Referee Jeff Triplette's crew has now ejected five players from games this season, by far the highest total in the NFL. The rest of the league's referee crews have ejected a total of four players. Plenty of time to add to that total in Cleveland.

Probably hurts them now then us. Although, it didn't look like Irving did much.

Yeah, hurt them way more...rotational DT vs starting C. I didn't see what D Irving did outside of talking a bit to the Ref...assume something else happened that TV didn't show.

That was a very quick trigger in my view. Not sure what was said but the physical altercation didn't appear to be that intense to merit the decision. The Beckham-Norman stuff was 50 times worse.

The officials have been horrible this year.

The NFL is giving them even more power and control over games. It's just going to continue to deteriorate as they're asked to make more subjective calls. To me, this is the greatest issue with NFL right now as far as on field product.

Triplette has been a disaster for years. Dating all the way back to hitting Orlando Brown in the eye with his flag, basically ending Brown's career.

If there's something completely off, Triplette is probably in the middle of it.

I'm more worried about tackling, missed assignment, penalties, and overall poor technique. I used to like pro football over the pro game due to the improved execution and performance. I only watch Dallas games now.

All those holds, false starts, clips, hands to the face, helmet to helmets and such are not illusions. PI is the real judgement call and that has not been an issue IMO.

Reason #23 why people aren't watching.

Triplette is a joke. Horrendous call as neither player should have been ejected. You give them a warning and play on. Especially this early in the game with a NFC and AFC team. It's not like they are hated rivals and they have to get control of the game immediately.

What happened with giving a warning prior to ejecting? Poor call by Triplette.

They were not messing around. They threw out Cam Erving, David Irving, they even searched to see if Michael Irving was there too.
Too bad Jason Whitten was on the sideline he would have gone too

Worst crew there is on a consistent bases though there are worse crews for the Cowboys.
