I agree, just look at him compared to Wagner...You can look at his legs and tell he is not built for a linebacker position.
Plenty of people have come back from knee reconstruction. The issue is not so much finding donor tendon and the reconstruction as it is all the squishy bits between them. We have no idea what that is like and they are not going to tell us.Stupid question I'm sure, but anyone ever just got a TKR for something this bad and came back to play?
Did I say it did? That had absolutely nothing to do with this injury.
If you’re looking a comp, Navarro Bowman had a similar injury in the playoffs in 2013. He missed the following season but came back in 2015 and was an All Pro.Stupid question I'm sure, but anyone ever just got a TKR for something this bad and came back to play?
We may have seen the last of Overshown with the Cowboys. He had such a bright future. He had star written all over him. Not totally counting him out returning to form in a couple of years, but it’s not likely.
No one knows if he will be able to play at the same level after this injury. Every player is different. He came back great from the ACL but Gallup didn’t. It’s not the same for every player. Another hurdle for Overshown is the development he’s losing by missing all these games.I spoke with a sport medicine doctor today coincidentally. So i had to ask about his injury. She said yes he can come back and do very well, but the question is how long can he go before he's hurt again.
