I don't think there were any Bledsoe supporters. He was a statue in the pocket, always getting sacked and made terrible decisions throwing the ball. The change to Romo was welcomed.
Jerry Jones was a Bledsoe supporter who expressed disappointment in Parcells decision to go with Romo. Jerry even qent so far as to say it meant he had to lower his expectations.

Good thing for us is that Romo will be hurt again the instant he walks on the field, and we'll be forced to go back to Dak.

Right now we're beginning to look like a playoff team you don't disrupt a playoff team end of story

Gotta admit -- not sure I understand your strong displeasure of this particular stat.

Romo was fantastic when he got his chance in 2006. Dak has been fantastic when he got his chance in 2016.

100% Exactly. They both exceeded everyone's expectations, and revealed their franchise quality potential. Don't know why people are rating 1 verse the other.

A decision will be made about who gives the team, the best chance to win right now, and moving forward.

To be fair, Dak didn't have the luxury of sitting 3 years first. Btw, I would LOVE to pull some threads from 2006 and read the Bledsoe supporters. I was here
I don't remember many Bledsoe supporters but I'm sure there were so
Interesting parallels with Dak and room

The whole "wow! this one stat is identical! look at how these guys are totally the same" is a just poor reasoning.

Look at the context. Dak is doing great and I think he's going to be an outstanding QB - but what he's doing is nothing compared to Romo's first games. Tony did not have a dominant OL or a great RB. We did have productive players in some of those spots. But you can't look at Flo-Kosier-Gurode-Rivera-Colombo and think that's anywhere near close to what we have now. Similarly, the Jones/Barber one-two punch really doesn't hold a candle to Elliot/Morris

I'd like to see the combined win-loss records of the opponents.

For perspective, the combined win / loss opponent records of AFC Favorite Pats and the 5-0 Vikings

Pats: 9-16
Vikes: 11-12

To be fair Dak does not have Gurode as his center hiking the ball all over the place either ;)

that is also why Parcells played romo the whole preseason game at seattle. It was to showcase to jerry that romo could handle it. It was about convincing Jerry.

Bledsoe defenders? The only thing I remember people saying about Bledsoe was how unprotectable he was.

That's uncanny. mirror images. Hopefully for us Dak can mirror Romo's total career

they both seem like really similar guys. Good dudes who play with a smile on their face, loved by teammates, fun and friendly with the media and he has the type of relationship with zeke that romo has with witten.

as long as Dak doesnt wear his hat backwards he should be fine.

also its intriguing that Dak vs Wentz is setting up like Romo vs Manning has been for years.

Bledsoe was done. The last INT that went for a pick 6 sealed the deal with Parcells but many fans were ready to move forward long before that.

Unless that mirror is reflecting back superbowl trophies, I hope he exceeds Tony's career.

We all hope he goes on to be the best QB of all time. But realistically, we'll be very lucky if he's as good as Tony. If we want rings, we need to continue drafting well so that Dak gets more help than Tony did.
