I think it's more than having a giant OL.The injury angle isn't a good one. I don't recall anyone getting hurt from it, and certainly not the Eagles. It's not something new. Teams have done it forever. The Eagles just have a giant
offensive line. It wouldn't matter whether the banned it or not. They still have success running the QB sneak whether a player pushed or not.
And it's more designed orchestra than a mere QB sneak.
These traditional qb sneaks don't seem to be near as consistently effective the way
the Tush Push has been...
Teams are not heavily researching practicing thus Rugsby scheme the way the Eagles have.
-Some thought it was the skills of center Jason kelcie.
-Some thought it was about the QB Jalen hurts...
It's been guesswork from all angles as why Tush Push has been so successful.
And apparently it's still quite a puzzle as why opposing nfl teams have failed to physically stop it.
