as soon as dak throws a pick, put in sanchez. He hasn't thrown one yet. this way we can keep the streaking going.

Is this a trick question?

Well, I'll answer anyway.....

You get an elite QB with years of experience vs a rookie who hasn't beaten anyone yet....even though he looks good for a rookie.

with Romo, no playoffs and deeper down the draft , vs experience for Dak, let him have his ups and downs and get him work for next season. Romo and Garrett will get you something mediocre. Dak is bringing you a new offense and learning that you cant teach. Ride the wave. The same thing like the GIants and Eli, go with Warner or ride Eli. Even Warner knew it was over in NY.

He can't keep up with that kind of offense particularly with our defense. He's not ready for a GB type team. He's not ready for Philly right now with their defense.
didnt he keep up with the Giants and Skins?

That's nice. On a night our rookie qb steps up again you decide it's time to say he cannot handle playing the Packers. I, for one, hope you are wrong since even the front office is saying Dak will be starting that game. You sound a lot like Cowherd.

Its 72% to 28% in favor of Dak at the moment.
People are fleeing the Romo camp faster than cockroaches when the light comes on.

Anyone wanting to go back to Romo at this point is more concerned about his feelings than what is best for this team/franchise. No other way to describe it.

Emotional reasoning and possibly an ad hominem attack (I'll take it as not).

This is not a rooting contest. I love the guy but you guys are putting him on a pedestal where he doesn't belong yet. He has all the makings of a NFL starting QB but he's not going to go toe to toe with a QB like Rodgers. And a better defense is going to force errors as it does in any QB but particularly a rookie who can't make the reads quickly nor have the judgment someone like Romo does.

I'm glad to see you stand up for him but that wasn't the time or place.

Unlike you, I don't feel the need to knock our starting QB off of the pedestal(albeit a short one) that he has put HIMSELF on. He has earned the accolades he is getting here on this forum, and elsewhere. I just don't see any point, as a Cowboy fan, to go around the board the night of a big win spouting nonsense about how he can't play with the Packers. It's a load of crap. We can beat the packers with Dak.... OR Romo... and I believe we will.

Romo was 12-4 in 2014 and had a winning record for an atrocious team when he played last year. If Romo were healthy this year, there is zero reason to think we wouldn't be 3-1 if not 4-0 right now.

I'm as happy as anyone to see Dak playing so well, but let's all tap the brakes until we see where we stand at the bye.

The Romo-White comparisons need to be put to bed. White had five top ten seasons compared to Romo's eight, and that was with far superior teams. When Dallas reached the NFC title games from 1980-82, White had the best supporting cast in the NFL over those three seasons.

Your argument is based on false premises.

Dak is playing so much better than 99% of us thought some seem to think he can beat anyone. Well, on any given Sunday. But I'll bet you all the tea in China the HCs in the league are going to prepare for Romo to play as soon as they put him on the active roster. He's our best chance to win esp against playoff teams.

Who are average teams. We're an average team but just playing a bit better. And we lost one game and Cousins gift wrapped the other. Those weren't well defensed and unpressured passes he missed (many).

Those who think Romo should be put back in once he's healthy, you're not going to get the Romo from 2014, you'll likely get the one who returned from injury last season and threw 5 picks. Dak has gone 4 straight games without an INT or turnover. You won't find many 4 game stretches over Romo's career where he didn't have any turnovers.
