The ESPN title does not reflect the content.
They said it is indeed a freak accident, that it is not related to past injuries, and that after healing, there should be full normal functionality going forward.

Of course, they also said what we all know; that is 36 and playing in the NFL.

Really long article to say - well, not much. Headline says injury is more serious, article says he'll be fine and it could take as little as a few weeks.

I didn't need the author Stephania Bell to figure out things like this sentence:

Beyond the pain resolution and the bone healing, there is also the matter of him being football-ready in his conditioning before he takes the field again.

And she left out the part where he'll be able to resume throwing weeks before he's playing. And can we be serious about what 'football ready conditioning' means for a QB?

Did you even read it? Or have your Mommy read it to you? I don't think it says what you thought it said.

this was for the poor folk in Florida

who think they know it all

Something told me I should read the comments before venturing into the article. Something was right.

That's why I'd prefer the longer prediction on how long he will be out rather than sooner. Even if his back is healed in week six, he should take a couple of weeks to get conditioned again BEFORE coming back into games. The stronger the muscles, the less chance of injury.

So according to the article, this is just a boo-boo. Lol
Kinda figured that. Everyone who saw him after the game said he appeared fine was moving fine, compared to past injuries that apparently looked like the team would be wearing #9 stickers for the season.

Broken bone - it will heal - does he even have any associated pain? My nephew had a injury of the same type and did not even know he had it.

So, he will heal and be able to play again but should give up break dancing.........for good this time.

The gist of that article is the doc isn't privy to this specific injury or the patient and I doubt his doc will put it out on the internet for all to weigh in on.

Before he comes back, ESPN will find a doc to say Romo risks the uncontrollable urge to tap dance whenever he hears music and speak like Ozzy.

key word is "heal" so will tony let it actually heal first?????????????
I cant believe a bone could heal in a few weeks. he better let it heal up good.
