That is true, for some odd reason...

But, on the other hand, those same people won't talk good when the Cowboys have won some of those imagined spotlight games. Which they have...it's the bad that they love to talk about.

My sides are hurtin bro. I need to watch the game.

They have won four games against teams that has records above .500 since 2011. Lost 19. There has been four games since 2011 for us to heap praise on Romo. The chance hasn't come around very often. This info was provided by Chuck 54 in another thread. There is a reason that you hear more bad than good about these "big games". Just some fun facts.

LOL. It's half time Saint's game. Clearly Romo is the problem on this team. #SARCASM

Romo was not the problem tonight. He didn't cause the loss, but his play sure didn't prevent it. He played a very bad game and I think his noodle arm is here to stay. How many fans want him around at 40years old if his arm is already this weak?

So if he had went out there and thrown the ball another 30 times and put 500 yards and 5 TDs but still come up short...you guys could talk about how he comes up short in spotlight games. I would draft someone now to be Romo's eventual replacement. It makes football sense to do so. What does not make football sense if the Romo hate that goes around here when Jerry has failed to field a competent team since Jimmy left. Romo's career has been and will continue to be wasted on terrible management, but for some it is easier to look at Romo and blame him as opposed to opening their eyes to what kind of team Romo plays for.

I would love to see an anonymous poll of top NFL QBs that would switch places with Romo.

You people kill me with the use of the word "hate". To point out that he had a bad game is not hate. To point out that he has chocked on the big stage from time to time isn't hate. You watched tonight's game. Do you think he played well? I am sure that you seen the big games that he blew as well. Do you think not talking about them will make his failures go away? It is not hate. There has to be some emotions involved to hate. I don't care that much about any player to hate them. There are very few posters that blame all the team's failures on Romo alone. I don't. I think he is a good QB that has choked in a few big games. Yes, his turnovers lost several games, but it happens to all QBs. It just happens to Romo in big games against very good teams when everybody is watching. I think that it was a mistake to resign Romo. They are not going to have time to build a team around him before he declines too much. It has already started. He has wasted a career in Dallas, but so has Ware, Witten and several others. He had a very bad game tonight. I guess that statement makes me a hater, but it doesn't make me wrong.

I did not say you hate him but I have been around here long to see the hate.

I would like to think that grown men and women don't hate people that they have never met or people that has never done anything to hurt them. If they hate players, they have serious problems and need to step back from being involved as a fan.

Ok, if you want to play semantics go for it. You know exactly what is meant. Fans blame him for Dallas lack of success, they want him gone, would rather have Orton start, call him a loser, and on and on.

Romo is not above criticism . He deserves the bashing at times just like other players. The QB position is one reason. There are times that a couple of posters on this board takes things a little too far, but I have never seen so many posters come to defend a player. I will admit that the bashing can go overboard at times, but the defenders take things much too far as well. I think the word "hate" is taking things too far. The defenders will label someone as a hater at the first mention of one of Romo's blow-ups. The blow-ups happened. Everybody seen them happen, but for some reason the defenders attack any poster that brings them up. Romo has a poor record against teams that have above a .500 winning percentage. The "haters" didn't make these loses up. The one point that I agree with the defenders on is that it is a team sport, and Romo is just part of the team. There is no reason to blame him for loses that other team members are responsible for. Romo has had enough blow-ups to prove their point without blaming the screwups that wasn't his fault on him.
