I'm intrigued but haven't jumped on the Garrett wagon for HC yet.

I'm gung ho to get him here as OC. As HC, I'm not fully on board yet.

But I've liked Garrett since he's been here and he was a positive factor when he played for the Giants as well. I think he certainly can be HC material, but I think he should be starting with OC.

If he is brought in here...wonder what will happen to Sparano...does he stay or go to New Orleans?

That's not fair I will support him if hired, he isn't my top choice but it isn't my decision.

Frankly all the candidates are a risk so rolling the dice with Garrett isn't too different.

Hpefully, ESPN is right for once. This is a bold move. A young, energetic coach with a wealth of offensive experience under various coaches. We can have a coach in place for several years. Stability is key. You hire old men like Turner, Reeves, or Phillips and you're right back loooking for a coach in a few years.

There's no way this can happen.

Has anyone EVER been hired as a HC with such little coaching experience? It's the NFL, the pinnacle of coaching - if you could just be Lawrence Frank and dive in then every Tom, Dick, and Nancy that were cerebral on the high school field would coach.

This wouldbe unprecedented, and I'm not that fuzzy about it.
