People were talking about Bringing in Eric after Earl went to the Ravens.
How much time Earl missed has no bearing on bringing in Berry or passing on him.

Maybe it’s me, but I’m not interested in signing 30 year old players who’ve been injured the last couple of years to big money contracts. I’m not sure it’s smart money. JMO

Were we watching the same game?? Because to me. it appeared the loss was more on Antwan Woods and Daniel Ross getting destroyed inside freeing up CJ Anderson to run at will over our defense than it was Jeff Heath getting burned all game long...

That too. But I was talking about the short yardage play where Heath watched Goff run right by him. One of the worst plays I’ve seen.

I know he is old and maybe thinking of retirement but wouldn't Quin be a good (a short term solution) fit here? He was pretty good in Detroit, wasn't he?

People will hate to hear this but the only way for things to change in Dallas is to stop watching. This team is just stupid, stupid, stupid. Ugh, another year another failed attempt at doing something to go beyond mediocrity.

I am not going to panic because we did not pick up the 30 year old big name 14mil per year FA that just finished a season on IR.

Lots of good Safeties in FA. There will be one at a good price for us.

This was the same thing last off season though. Plenty of quality Safeties at decent prices and we did not make a move.

Hopefully we pick one up this time although i am more concerned about DLine anyway.

We were among the worst in INTs again which is EXACTLY why you go after an ET at all costs. The Ravens had a guy named Ed Reed who consistently changed outcomes with INTs. They remember how important the FS position is and that's why they paid ET big time.

I'm more concerned about inevitably breaking the bank on a defensive player who shows up for half a season, much more so than I would have been about signing that aging safety who had 2 INTs against us last season.

What’s your alternative plan if we don’t resign Tank? With Gregory’s situation unknown we’re in a tough spot.

The alternative to ET is Jeff Heath. Ponder that for a hot minute.

The ET alternatives are Heath and Woods with Frazier and Thompson sprinkled in.

And don't kid yourself, in a few weeks Stephen will hit the airwaves talking about how they really like the spot they are in at the safety position.
Is it bad that I cant wait to hear the back peddle?

Sign me up for Quin.

Anything over Heath back there

With just Tank or no Tank, we can expect regression on the line. But I'd try to trade him and at least get back into the first round.

They would be dropping some good coin for a couple of safeties.

Didn't Haha and Collins play together at Bama?

I think we'll look to draft one fairly early. That doesn't mean the player will work out, but after Witten's return, I think the team considers safety the top area of need.

According to David Moore, we are done shopping. May pick up a scrub or two, but we are done with FA

They did. Their whole team is basically Alabama 2.0

Collins, Payne, Foster, Anderson, Allen, Clinton-Dix, Hamilton
