I missed this post earlier, until fortdick pointed it out. You've got it totally backwards.Alexander;2182476 said:Your reply shows not only a bias for Carpenter but a lack of knowledge of the facts as well.
Spencer started six games and posted three sacks to go along with 36 tackles. In his rookie season, Carpenter started one and had 1.5 sacks and 19 tackles. And Spencer had Ellis in front of him. Carpenter had a free path to the starting OLB job with only Al Singleton to hold him off and it never materialized.

Actually I think he said that to Brady James. Witten yelled at the coach to get carp off him when he was being held, in his opinion.Achozen;2182375 said:"Feel free to cover me, Bobby."

But that's leadership, tomson. He's trying to get the defense to step up.tomson75;2182658 said:Pretty sure Witten has called out everyone he's caught a ball against in camp. It was pretty funny when he called out Burnett on 'Hard Knocks'.

Sorry, that was a joke, t. That was one of the examples given of leadership when Witten was in fact talking ish same as Crayton. You might've missed that thread.tomson75;2182738 said:I realize that....and it could be just as true for Carpenter.

I personally thought it a hilarious stretch.
