Everybody hates on Roy, what about A. Henry

henry is the one CB that confuses me the most. He is the most inconsistant player on the secondary. He's really good one game or several games and then another He's an absolute Bust. I dont know about that guy.

can you imagine if Henry isn't here next year, and we sign Dan Orvlosky, when eduncan and Nors won't be here to celebrate? oh what fun

Except that eduncan is still an active member.

You are right...I have never ever seen a group of people complain about Henry.

Henry's older and past his prime, while watching him is frustrating, I have no reason to believe he's not giving everything he has.

RW38 on the other hand should be in his prime now, but isn't and it's clear atleast in the past he doesn't give 100%. He let's his weight get out of control, doesn't study film like he should or could and doesn't hold himself accountable for his mistakes.

The moment I saw Henry tap Buckhalter on the helmet after the guy scored a td against him in a do or die game told me all I need to know about that loser...buh bye.

ive been for moving him to free safety or simply releasing him. It depends on what they want to do with Roy williams.

Seriously, I know that Roy became a liability in our secondary, but I think that Anthony Henry is now the weak link for us.

I just watched the NFL replay of our loss to the Cardinals.

we were In control of the game 14-7, when suddenly the Cards offense came to life, and guess what? The passes were completed against Henry.

It's not that he was beaten badly, he just didn't make plays when he was in position too. Warner focused on Henrys side of the field on the drive that tied the game (other than a completion against pac-man) and drove methodically down the field for a score.

All I am saying, if we are gonna ride Roy Williams out of town on a rail, You better get a two seater and upgrade Henrys position as well.

:)

I hate, Henry !!!!

henry and roy both need to get the hell off this team.

Henry was awful in the first half of the season, but really came on strong in the second half.

He's been a pretty solid pickup for the team, unfortunately he gets hurt a lot. I don't think you get rid of a guy like him because if he is moved to safety, then you get a guy who can play some safety and some corner which is pretty valuable.

Again, I agree he looked terrible in that game (and the Rams game and other games), but in the second half of the season he really picked it up and was quite good. Even to my surprise.

YAKUZA

Yup he looked VERY strong against a WR in Derrick Mason who was playing with one arm, had a career game and scored a crucial TD in the 2nd half when it looked like there wasn't a defensive player within 15 yards of Mason. Yup Henry is the man. The guy should have been playing safety two years ago, now he's not even physical enough to do that anymore.

Great point I forgot about that. That should be the deciding factor with the guy. That shows he really doesn't care about winning.

I have been saying all along that A Henry is a huge liability., Every time he gives up yet another completion I throw up a little in my throat. I would really like to see Scandrick or Jenkins challenge for that 2nd starting corner. I'm also more on the side of getting rid of Henry versus trying to make him a Safety. Just draft a real safety (or two) and move on.
