To put it plain and simple,the head coaching job of the Dallas Cowboys,along with manager of the New York Yankees,are the 2 most highly publicized,prestigic marquee jobs in all of sports.All the names that have been thrown out today,are going to have a big interest in this job.Even the guys like Jeff Fisher,who is already under contract,are going to be interested.A guy like Pete Carrol,who has turned down numerous chances to return to the NFL,are going to be interested.It is going to be interesting to see what happens,but it is all up to Jerry.

The job is one of the most high-profile you can get. Even though I hate the Yanks, it can easily be said that the Cowboys are the Yankees of football. You either love them or you love to hate them. There's hardly any gray area with those two teams.

Looking at Jerry's past transgressions and role as GM in addition inheriting T.O. and Jerry likely wanting the new coach to run the 3-4. It may not have the polish some think it does. Don't ever EVER compare the Yankees to an expansion team in Dallas.

Wow. Someone is about to have an aneurysm. Yankees are in a huge market, so of course they get a lot of local play.

Notre Dame has more fans than the Cowboys? Got any evidence for that? Notre Dame does have every national game televised. That is a very smart move for them. It really says nothing about the team in comparison to the Cowboys, however.

If Dallas were able to negotiate its own television contract, every single game would likely be televised nationally as well. The ratings would almost certainly dwarf ND's ratings.

i hate those cheatin' bastids and laff my a** off every year that they fail to buy their way into the world series. the field is tilted heavily in their favor year after year. with no cap, steinbrenner can annually outspend his nearest competitors by 50%. yet some REAL TEAM generally wins the whole thing.

i hate the guys in the pinstripes. they lack the class of an organization like the cowboys - a team that earned every title they possess. a team that worked for it. not a team that purchased it.

Hurt to burst your bubble troll, but just last year it was reported by the Collin Cowherd show that Sports Illustrated did a nationwide poll of, I'm not sure the exact number but it was well in the thousands, of what was considered the greatest sports franchise, and you're wrong. #1 The Dallas Cowboys. Your Yanks did get 4th though. Cowherd was even bumbling over it. Step out of NY sometime. Enjoy.
