There have already been hints of this change, as Jerry Jones now infamously declared the Cowboys to be going “all-in” for the 2024 season. Fan response to these comments was largely ambivalent, with little anticipation that Jones’ definition of “all in” would match the fans’ perception of the idea. However, it’s no coincidence that Jones made this comment after having seen some of the work from his new analytics team, nor is it a coincidence that the team has handled the running back position the way they have and, soon, will.

It's still wouldn't matter if we get that breathing room and actually have some cap space, Jerry will not get more aggressive in FA, just not the way he rolls.
And that’s my big problem with it all…

Even if they get back to where they are in a position to win again, they won’t do what’s necessary to get over the top.

The idea that ANY team in history since the advent of free agency can build a championship roster with the draft alone, let alone those two, is absurd, and has been as proven over quite some sample size.

They then sit there smugly as if it’s something it’s some foolproof winning formula, and change is the furthest thing from necessary.

And look at all those Pro Bowlers/All Pro's careers that have been wasted while Jerry patted himself on the back on making solid draft picks. After all this time, it seems he should have learned something about being a GM, his commitment to arrogance and ignorance is astounding.

GM Jethro believes his comp pick strategy will push us over the top.

We will have 4 extra picks in 2025.

Then in 2026 we should get a 3rd for Dak. Maybe a 5th for Zach Martin and maybe another 5th for DLaw. Maybe Lewis leaves and we get another 6 or 7th.
