You can tell that after a handful of preseason games? That's impressive. Please, enlighten us, using specific plays, examples, and how you would have done it differently.

I would have asked Romo to throw it to Wit and then I would have asked him to throw it to T.O.

I would then ask him to hand it off to Barber and Jones. After we scored a TD, I would have asked our secondary to not allow them to pass the ball.

Then I would lean on Tony for another TD and call it a night.

We make it do what it do baby.

Check it out. Dustin Hoffman, 'Rain Man,' look ********, act ********, not ********. Count toothpicks to your cards. Autistic, sure. Not ********. You know Tom Hanks, 'Forrest Gump.' Slow, yes. ********, maybe. Braces on his legs. But he charmed the pants off Nixon and won a ping-pong competition. That ain't ********. You went full ******, man.

Never go full ******.

I know I shouldn't gloat over the fact that the Foreskins got blown out by the Panthers, but I'm gonna anyway.

I like to read posts at their board - purely for the comedic relief.

There was a lot of talk about how poorly we have been looking in pre-season because we haven't won a game.

They failed to mention that when we had our starters in we moved the ball well and made some good defensive stops.

When we finally decided to give the starters more playing time our offense looked fantastic. This last game was a dress rehearsal for us. Although we need some work we are making progress.

When the Foreskins had their chance to show what the starters can do they lay a big fat egg.

They are in damage control mode folks.

I live in Foreskin territory so I have to hear it from them constantly.

I keep telling them that as long as they have Jason Campbell back there they will never amount to anything.

But, he sure had poise back there!

:lmao2:

I don't get -- nor have I ever gotten -- why a fan of one team would frequent another board dedicated to a team they hate? Whatever....

Kind of like the way you feel come December? :D

(P.S. Just so anyone doesn't take it the wrong way -- this is all in good fun, as was my previous post!)

Aw, you didn't have to 'splain that to me... after all, anybody who'd willing choose as a nom de plume the absolute worst color commentator in all of radio HAS to have a sense of humor...

OK, maybe he's not the worst... that would be Sam Huff... :D

Yeah -- always safe to put a disclaimer on it when I don't feel like arguing...SOME people take themselves too damned seriously...

I like Sonny -- but Sam is losing it...

To me, the skins look a little discombobulated. They have talent, although I don't think they helped themselves much with their offseason and draft. Looked and sounded like they let the patients run the nuthouse on draft day.
As for the games, when you get rid of your HC, Offensive Coord, and Defensive Coord....then you hire a HC with no HC qualifications...and put his brand new offense in the hands of a developmental QB.....you have to expect a dramatic step back before any hope of stepping forward. I long thought that Greg Williams was a great DC and kept the skins more competitive than they should've been. Without him, could be trouble.
I know its preseason and the skins have some dangerous players in CP, SM, and CC but Campbell does not look comfortable, the offense looks like it'll be a while before they get it together, and no Greg Williams means the defense has a huge learning curve ahead.
I think opponents will want to get the Skins early in the season because its going to take a while for this team to come together with all their newness. I also have looked at their schedule and I really think Wash will be fortunate to start the season 1-5. After that, I think they'll pull off a few but its still hard to see them winning more than 5-7 games, which of course won't bode well for Zorn and their fans. You just can't expect to build anything worthwhile when you have the kind of changeover in coaching and systems like they have. Its fun to despise nancy-boy Snyder, but he's the best thing that ever happened to the skins,.....if you're a Cowboys fan.
