Ezeiruaku. Not good

His first piece of action, excited to see more.
Thats what she said :)

In all seriousness guy is going to have to adjust to the NFL, and its going to take a little time but he certainly appears to have the skill set to be successful.

Curious if anyone has looked at michas first preseason game

I remember after Zeke's rookie training camp and first two games of the regular season, people wanted to start Alfred Morris.

Good times.
I remember Zekes first pre season game him going straight for Earl Thomas. (I believe it was him or Chancellor) and laid his helmet into his chest.

This is not the same. The cowboys looked like a bunch of little boys out there. Not men playing a violent game.

Camp cupcake is exactly what it looked like to be honest. No teeth.

Guessing the Greek dancing and ping pong table isn’t exactly building football players, but friends.

You mean the one where he had to be forced off the field and LVE told him to take it easy?

That game?

I dont remember it so enlighten me please, why I asked the question
Micah was on the field trying to make every play until Quinn had to force him off.

LVE told him “take it easy, you don’t have to try to make every play” typical of a Garrett guy.

Micah was playing his butt off. Was told to calm down.

Anyone last night look like they were playing like that?

I didnt watch last night bc it wasn't on by me and I knew it was going to be crap so I watched lilo and stich with the wife and 3 little ones....but following the NFL.com play by play i knew after the first quarter it wasn't worth even watching the replay

The hype machine will hopefully slow down on this guy. He was totally and 100% dominated by whoever the Rams backup RT is. I mean dominated. Pretty obvious to me his “stellar” play in camp is more about how bad our tackles are more than how good he is.
Our tackles are bad. I can't believe they haven't done more to address it.

Don't question the haters, they are always right and they're a few superheroes that come to their defense......lol
don't question the pumpers is what you mean

All through camp and frankly even before the hype was on for this guy

You were one of them

He showed nothing against non starters

so yes the hype was CLEARLY premature

I don't think I ever commented on this guy. Don't know enough about him, so I kept my mouth shut. Try it....it'll make you seem smarter. If you think he's bad, please share, why....what do you see that he is lacking and can't fix.

Most of the “fans” on this forum are a bunch of bitter cowboy hating jack *****. Go away we don’t need to hear your constant complaining or droning on about things that won’t change. I swear you all sound like whiny children. It’s a game idiots. There will be ups and downs. And there are 20 other teams that have NEVER tasted championship success but they still remain hopeful, go plague their boards you losers.
But Jerry and Dak suck.

Wah!

Did I get it right?

Didn't watch the game until this morning but had checked the stat sheet for his name and when I didn't see it, I just assumed he didn't play. He didn't register a dang thing in that game. Interesting.

Liafau was pretty aggressive when he was in there. Mukuamu seemed to be around the ball.

On offense, Malik and Holden were aggressive in their opportunities

He had a fumble recovery too if I remember correctly. Plus, he was begging to get back in the game after Quinn told him he was done. That's someone who wants it.

The point was it's premature to say the hype was real based on a couple weeks of training camp, not the other way around.

I mean we had people saying he was the reason we could trade Parsons based on what he was doing against our 2nd team tackles. Will he be good? I hope and believe so, but some of the hype was over the top.
The hype was generated from where? Him dominating training camp. We don’t want to hype up weeks of training camp play but we want to temper expectations based on one preseason game. You’re doing exactly what they are doing.

He also only played 15 snaps and a lot was being run defense. They said his #1 trait was pass rush in 3rd and long situations. He didn’t get many of those.

Is a “pumper” a homer?

Are the haters called “crappers?” “dumpers?”

I keep telling everyone to tap the brakes on these players. He’s been looking good in training camp practices, but was a no-show in the game. For whatever reason some of these guys just don’t show up in games. You can’t just pencil them in as great players because they were a premium draft pick until you see them on the field in games. He’s young and hopefully he’ll develop but he did absolutely nothing yesterday.
