Fans. Overreacting.
The hype stemmed from reports of how he good he looked in camp. If you want to use preseason to determine how bad or good he is be my guest. But as I said earlier all they did was report what they saw. You guys calling it hype based on what? A few posters on Cowboyszone?Shouldn’t it be the exact opposite “the hype was premature”? Dude has played how many real games, or even practices, in full pads against NFL competition?
True, but fans also seeing possible signs on the wall!!!Fans. Overreacting.
I think hyping up any player in pre season is dumb, more times than not the hype never delivers. Plus hyping up a player who hasn’t played a snap in a real NFL game is dumb. Mazi was hyped up the minute we drafted him based on his words, how ridiculous is that? The hype stemmed from reports of how he good he looked in camp. If you want to use preseason to determine how bad or good he is be my guest. But as I said earlier all they did was report what they saw. You guys calling it hype based on what? I think after 3+ years we can all admit that Mazi's light bulb has a busted filament and is never going to turn on.they said the same for mazi, and it's taken him 3+ years!
Clearly the greatest post of your career!I think after 3+ years we can all admit that Mazi's light bulb has a busted filament and is never going to turn on.
I can hear Thomas Edison applauding from the cheap seats.Clearly the greatest post of your career!
Man you're being too rough on yourself, I was thinking standing room area!!!! lolI can hear Thomas Edison applauding from the cheap seats.
But but but…remember how hyped up he was his first week in rookie camp? Don’t you remember how many other players said how strong he was and that he was the strongest player at Michigan?I think after 3+ years we can all admit that Mazi's light bulb has a busted filament and is never going to turn on.
Right like a player CAN'T show some promise in his first few games/practices, oh he needs time, he needs to develop!!! You're talking about the same guy that says he likes to HIT PEOPLE, yeah right he gets hit BY people!! Terrible pickBut but but…remember how hyped up he was his first week in rookie camp? Don’t you remember how many other players said how strong he was and that he was the strongest player at Michigan?
Then came the “DT’s don’t develop overnight, it takes at least 2 years” then it was 3 years.
I don't mind fans gettin' overhyped ....or underhyped. Fan as ya want!Agreed, I simply hate how much stock we put into this time of year. Especially for rookies where we lift them up so much then as soon as they hit a road block we pull the ladder out from underneath them.
Acknowledge the good and the bad but we need to keep everything in perspective and make sure we are not getting too high or low on these guys as they go through the inevitable rookie roller coaster. We are still guessing what these guys are going to be in 2025.
he was playing up against those he should have been able to if not dominate certainly show more than he did.He wasn't dominated. He only played like 20 snaps in the first 4 series. Most pass plays, Bennett got rid of the ball almost instantly because the DBs were so bad. There was one or two run plays on his last possession where he got whipped good, but other than that, there wasn't anything to react to with disappointment.
at least you finally admit the problem; first step on the road to recoveryNot really, I'm still trying to forget you....
Again, I never posted on this player, much less to hate on him. I only hate on haters....I'm a homer, remember.....
now you are a coach who has watched the film?Did you watch the coaches film where you can focus on 1 player every play?
I don't see hating, haters as a problem....thanks for being there for me.at least you finally admit the problem; first step on the road to recovery
I don’t know man between this and the joint practice, it looks like he was getting glorified for beating his teammates which unfortunately aren’t that good.Whatever you felt about Eze prior to yesterday’s game should be the same today. If you think he sucks you should still feel that way. If you think he’s better than Micah you should feel that way. But under no circumstances should your opinion of a player change because of the first preseason game od the season. But I know..everyone wants to validate their opinion and can’t wait to do it lol.
Do you take a huge grain of salt more seriously than a regular grain of salt?Fixed it for you.
That's the fun part.....most fans don't have an issue with it, they know it's all in jest and not meant to be serious.....for the most part. What I don't take kindly to is insulting each other about it.
