Nearly certain Jacobs was taller than 6'1.

Yeah I got some bad info. He is 6'4. I was surprised when I saw that also. I should have looked more than one place.

Either way both are some big fast jokers

If we can get Ramsey and Henry I would be ok with missing out on Zeke

I'm not sure...just not sure. I like Henry's acceleration but I do worry about his lack of shake and bake. But he is a fearsome specimen -- the photo of him next to Eddie Lacy was eye opening.

Murry never had much shake. He was a straight line, upright runner. His biggest weakness out of college was that he was too stiff. Give me someone who hits the hole fast and takes 4.5 yards, I wont complain.

Found this interesting

Henry would be great for a line like ours. But I would worry that without big holes to run through, he would be much less effective trying to avoid tacklers and making cuts in the backfield. Elliott just has it all. Love the guy.

Well I won't argue with you there..... I really really like Elliot and think he is a for sure pro bowler that we can easily get at #4. Question is do the Cowboys pull the trigger this time for a sure bet and not whiff for a DE bust like they did when they did when they passed on Randy Moss and grabbed DE Greg Ellis instead.

I do think Henry would have a great career with the Cowboys, but Elliot would be that much better.

Man can we really pass on Zeke? The more I hear about this guy the more I keep believing he's the next elite RB in the making. But knowing Jerry.. We will probably make a safe pick at 4.

If it's between Ramsey and Zeke i'd go Ramsey all day.

Elliot is not that special. He's good but he isn't some phenom.

He should be considered around pick 15 at the earliest.

In the NFL you really need to be able to shed tacklers well...I know Henry can and Elliot is probably good enough. Murray was very good at shedding tacklers, McFadden, not so much. Behind our line, either of these backs would dominate......

I wonder how they get their numbers. According to combine, Henry is not the fastest in the first 10 yards. Henry timed at 1.60.

Elliot timed at 1.58. In fact, only Perkins, Drake and Collins timed slower in the first 10 yards and that's only the RBs. I didn't look at other positions.

Henry was also 254 or 257 at the Combine. He was only 247 in this program. That added weight may have something to do with the combine data.

Henry has kinda become an afterthought for whatever reason... but I tell ya what, if we end up picking him at 34 I'd be ecstatic. I think people are scared that he'll just become the next Trent Richardson but I disagree with that. This guy has so much speed and power it's ridiculous. He's a freak of nature. I know we say this about every running back, but put him behind this O-line and he'll absolutely shred defenses.

I think at this point my top 2 draft scenarios are...

1. Draft Bosa or Ramsey at 4, Henry at 34
2. Trade back in the first while picking up an extra 2nd or 3rd, draft Elliott in the first and pick up the best DE at 34 and BPA with the extra pick.

Yes, I want a RB early. I'm probably in the minority on that.

They said this was from THEIR tests, not from Combine It is guys they have worked out for sports science. I know McCoy is one of the guys they have tested, not sure who else. They DID test Henry and Elliott, and Henry was the better of the two in their testing.

Eddie lacy next to Henry.
Good lord Morris Claiborne would break his shoulder and back tackling him.

And to be honest I wouldn't mind Ramsey at 4 either.. But now that Norman is a FA. Man oh man. We could improve our D and our offense Day 1.

Corners would be jumping outta the way. Screw run support lol

In the 2nd quarter, corners would be pretending to make tackles or at least making a good show of it. By the 4th, they will be shrieking like children and running in the opposite direction. The unlucky ones will be breathing out of their poop shoots because they couldn't get out of the way fast enough.
