Thing is though... He may not be shifty but he is explosive and with how good our OL blocks we will get him to the 2nd level where he can be a hammer and create big plays.
Maybe. I feel like his game is going to be a lot of 2-3 yard runs, then he breaks a few through to the secondary and trucks people. It will be fun to watch like MBIII was fun to watch, but like MBIII it will be pretty short lived I think.
They called him a hybrid Eddie George (hybrid with what? they don't say). George is 10+ years ago and was around 3.5 career yards per carry average. He had to be fed the ball a lot to be effective - 320+ per game. Only one RB got near that number of carries last year (Peterson). Only one in '14 (Murray). The current game is an air raid.
I want to believe his game will translate but, if he fails, it will be obvious why in hindsight.
