If a player in Elliot's situation signs with another team, doesn't that reduce by that amount what the original team owes him?

If so, that seems to cover most of what the team gave to Martin in a salary bump.
First of all guaranteed money is guaranteed money. So if the Cowboys still owed Zeke money (which they don't) they would still have to pay it whether he signs elsewhere or not. Also the cap hit cannot be impacted by a released player signing with another team.

I hope Zeke has a good season. Not to prove Dallas should've kept him, just for him. But Belichick uses so many RBs it's anyone's guess.

Btw what's this new (old) hairstyle he's got now I keep hearing about?

Also not being required to run 99% of his totes right up the gut from a standstill shotgun handoff should help as well. Moore's offense is what broke Zeke's body. Or should I say his stupid play calling.
Funny how that "broke" Zeke but didn't "break" Tony.

Pollard has missed just 4 games over 4 seasons. And TP's production always good, unlike Zeke.

But you keep repeating your Moore story if it makes you feel better.

Now he will probably ball out like Amari... that guy that was the problem. Never open and stuff... Outside of watching the film and seeing him open.
So goes to a nobody QB, and for stat lovers does:

So Zeke probably getting 1600 yards this season lol.

Good for Zeke. But, he probably won't like playing for Belichick, not after having played under the Clown and MM. Zeke will be sleeping in meetings while Belichick drones on and on and on.

I never said I hate them, but your feelings incorrectly inferred that. Is everything ok at home?
I'm good. Is there a reason you think my reply to you on a message board reflects my overall mental and home health?

You think that highly of yourself...that you effect me that way?

Weird. How does that work?

Nice post C93....I think most EVERY true Cowboy fan wishes him good luck in Bean town. I don't like Belichek or NEngland too much but I'll root for Zeke as an individual all day long. I think he has 1-2 solid years left in the tank.
Many do not. You can see it here. I think they have pathetic lives...so bashing zeke makes their lives worth living.

In 2020, Amari had 92 receptions for us for 1114 yards. In 2019, he had 78 for 1189 and 8 TDs. So it wasn't like last year was much different than usual for him. He just had a down year in 2021 (actually played in two less games, so his numbers might have been similar if he hadn't) and didn't play up to his level of compensation.

Even going back to Oakland, though, he's stayed at a pretty steady level of production.

He lost 85 pounds by getting a haircut. This also allowed him to get a new helmet that was 5 times smaller.
