I said it before the season, he wasn't going to win this case because it was a collectively bargained agreement and he should have just went through the Leagues appeal process and based on their determination, accepted the 6 games at the beginning of the season and put this behind him and moved on.......

This route has ran it's course, by the time the appeal his heard he would have already have served 4 games. Now he can take the suspension and sue for punitive damage.

Absolutely. A few misguided players mean nothing to the bigger money picture. Elliott is small potatoes compared to the enormous money to be made made. Its a business and rookie RB's are not worth too much. Simple.

I don't think money is evil per se. Since it's just a tool, its original intent was make the purchases of goods and services easier. Money used to be something tangible. It used to be made out of gold or silver. Now it's just effectively worthless paper, metallic coins, and computer bits. Its value is in its name not in what it is made out of. It has also become a commodity, which was never its intent, with people now making money on money via usury (why Jesus destroyed the tables of the money changers in the temple and called them vipers), hedge funds, and financial institutions like the stock market.

But like power, having a lot of it tends to corrupt.
