He will lose....goodell was within his powers and did nothing wrong. Heard his case, decide to listen who he wanted to listen to, and then punished zeke.

I'd compare it to trying to sue an arbitrator....very hard to do
Disagree, only thing that was proven was that Goodell followed procedure. Fundamental fairness can be addressed in a civil court, especially since they specifically suspended him for domestic violence. That will and has had a direct effect on his personal earning potential.

There is no justice in any of this. I have no faith in the courts at all.

I beleive that he's still cooking up something else even though he dropped this process.
This route has ran it's course, by the time the appeal his heard he would have already have served 4 games. Now he can take the suspension and sue for punitive damage.

The onion needs to release a story about Goodell being accused of domestic violence. Roger "Rage Monster" Goodell

I wonder if Goodell would file paperwork for slander then pause and realize the irony with regards to the Ezekiel Elliott situation.

Not for me. I'm ticked off because the railroad is officially complete. An injustice of epic proportion.

I think I would rather record myself 24/7 to stockpile evidence that would exonerate me. Any girl I'm dating would have to sign a waiver acknowledging she's being recorded.

That is similar to what Erik Williams did back in the day.

This case just shows money buys "justice" in this country. Money is the god of today.

The NFL is a "legalized" monopoly. Billions of dollars in revenue and profits run through it each year, not only via legal gambling, but in under the table deals and betting. You can bet all of these things played a part. I don't really care for football much anymore. Nowadays I believe most of the NFL owners are little more than white collar criminals in suits.

Yeah, I'm getting real sick of this. If the USFL still existed, I would probably just stop watching the NFL and follow the USFL instead. In any event, I'm starting the "bail Reverend Conehead out of jail" fund for when I attend the draft just to throw tomatoes at Goodell.

Guess we know how the Saints fans feel. Goodell totally ruined their season that one year too.

The NFLPA is so stupid giving that much power to one man.
It wasn't the last CBA, it was many CBA's ago that 46 was adopted.
You could say that it is the NFLPA's fault for not negotiating it out, but it was never as big a deal as it is now.
