What is it that isn't known at this point? They're a bottom feeder. Will feast on the worst teams, surprise some mediocre teams, get thumped by good teams. That's it. At best.
THIS^ Well said. If we need another game to tell us who we are, we haven't been paying attention. We are what we are and will be this year, a bad team that is soft, overrated, undertalented and lacks desire to be great. Other than that, we are good...oh btw, MM is terrible and Zimmer CLEARLY shouldn't be standing on an NFL field. Our owner/GM duo of Dumb and dumber are WOEFULLY INEPT AT FOOTBALL.I thought last week was going to tell us who we are. If they couldn't beat a crippled 9ers team what makes anyone thing this week will be any different?
I heard we'll have as much as 100 million in cap space next year. I think we have to make some adjustments to some contracts but that was the projection. And we have a ton of draft picks. I can't remember whose video it was, but he said this is a rebuilding year. You aren't familiar enough with our cap projections. We started letting players walk last off season and replaced them with no one. We will be fine cap wise. The problem is this FO is too cheap and scared to be aggressive.
exactly, the mask was removed in the playoffs against GB. We are Clark Kent. Then again, I don't wanna diss CK.We know who this team is. They suck.
Tell you what Nate, you wanna see a team give up on a season? Get handled today. What is it that isn't known at this point? They're a bottom feeder. Will feast on the worst teams, surprise some mediocre teams, get thumped by good teams. That's it. At best.
You aren't familiar with what TRULY letting guys go you really wanted. You aren't familiar enough with our cap projections. We started letting players walk last off season and replaced them with no one. We will be fine cap wise. The problem is this FO is too cheap and scared to be aggressive.

No...the Packers showed us we couldn't hang with strong teams.Ummm no. The Packers showed us who we are, and if anybody needs to be reaffirmed of this they haven't watched Cowboys football in the last 30 years
ummm, no. The Saint beat the crap out of us and exposed what the Packers did. This is nothing about good teams, this is about any team that has watched us playNo...the Packers showed us we couldn't hang with strong teams.
We know that. But they didn't show us that we are truly a pathetic team. Nor did the 9ers. Those teams were too good to show us that. Atlanta isn't good though. Let's wait and see
know the story of who we are is already done. Falcons will reiterate the same point again...First, a disclaimer: We already know who we are NOT. We're not a SuperBowl contender. This season will end, like they all have this century...with no trophy, or even a SB appearance. That much is etched in stone.
Bur this Falcins game will decide if we're one of the ham-and-egger teams that will eek through the season, providing some highs amidst the lows, possibly even contending for a Wild Card appearance (though any such play-off appearance would merely be a 1-and-done situation). This possible outcome was always the Floor in the past....but now, it's our ceiling
OR...have we broken downward through that floor barrier, and now are capable of a NEW low: being truly pathetic. Let's not kid ourselves....the Falcons aren't a great team. Not even quite good. If you don't show up, they can beat you...and that's how they've eeked out their wins this year.
If we get soundly beaten by the Falcons today, say goodbye to being a mediocre to slightly above average team (i.e. what we've grown accustomed to under Dak, and even before him). And say hello to truly being a weak team....not just a team CAPABLE of looking weak or unprepared, but truly a team that simply is bad... just another version of the Giants, Raiders, or Titans.
We shall see. And to think....we haven't even had to start adjusting our roster to account for Dak's enormous cap killing contract yet. We haven't even started letting players go we don't want to let go due to cap space....but that's coming
