It lasted all of about 2-3 days. I really don't understand how anyone right now can get excited to post anything Cowboys right now....I realize that we have to move on, but fans as usual have pretty much already accepted this S show without doing anything. I'm already hearing local talking heads attempting to justify Chuckles "drought" comments....I honestly believe, that 105.3 The Fan radio hosts have been warned again. Just a sad state of affairs....pathetic.
IMO, apathy is more damaging to the Jones cartel than outrage. Apathy means way less fans care or worse, have chosen other teams to follow.

One example of fans changing teams…I’m a season ticket holder for Texas Tech football games along with my two oldest sons. I lived in Lubbock for a few years as a kid and my two oldest sons both graduated from there. It used to be Lubbock was a Dallas Cowboys town. Not anymore.

When I attend Tech games now, you never see Cowboys jerseys, hats, etc. Because Pat Mahomes attended Tech, it seems the entire town now are chiefs fans. Mahomes comes to Lubbock all the time and is a big Tech supporter. Kids wear his chiefs jersey everywhere. Front yards have chiefs logos and banners.

Thirty years of playoff irrelevance has consequences.

This season I didn't watch one game of the Cowboys. I actually felt good about it not caring about a team that the owners could care less about winning. If they don't care why should we?

It felt good to do something else on Sunday than watch a train wreck happen.
But yet here you are posting about them.

I think fans are just tired at this point.
Probably right.
I think many are in the wait and see mode, prove it on the field, we can't believe the FO at this point, type of feeling.

No matter what they say or do. They can seem like they are trying, and change and sign FA's, and ones the fans like, have a great draft, the ones the fans like (though one will not). Fans want to see it on the field. They want to see a team, that they fell every time they take the field, we will feel confident they can win the game.

I think what they do and how they handle FA, with this new coaching staff, could go a long way for some fan excitement. But then, it will be back to ... prove it on the field ...

I can't be mad at Jerry and crew for doing what they do. Why wouldn't they if fans still buy merchandise and tickets no matter what?

There is something called choice, no one has to pull for the Cowboys. There are 31 other NFL teams out there for you to pull for. No doubt this has been a disaster of a season after coming off 3 seasons of 12 wins. Yes very disappointed but I'm still a fan and still pull for this team, how anyone else feels again that is there choice but I sure would not pull for a team that I disliked as much as some of you seem to.

My parents and I began our Revolt after the 2009 season when we stopped attending games and buying Jersey's, etc... We have been aware of the Jones' incompetence and direction (or lack there of) of this organization for over 14years now. I have been trying to convince fellow fans and relatives to STOP going to game and buying merch through the years. My family and I simply watch games on TV while enjoying food and snacks while not getting high or low over wins/losses. We are definitely NOT invested like we were throughout the 80's & 90's.

We know deep inside that no matter which coach is hired the result will be the same due to the incompetence, lack of care, or both of the GM and his family.
I told my kids to not be Cowboy fans. I told them root for a good team if you want but the Cowboys suck.

Apathy is the word I'd use as well.
Apathy always comes before anger.

So yeah, fans are in the don't give a damn, can't change it phase

Does anyone really expect a "fan revolt"?

I've been a Cowboy fan over 50 years and as frustrating as it got, I didn't bail at the lowest points in the 1980's, or during the Campo years, and not now.

Why do I say this? It's to show that I truly am a Cowboy fan and not someone that doesn't care.

But at the end of the day, whether I get upset or frustrated doesn't change the fact that it doesn't negatively affect my livelihood or my family, so ...

Imagine if the stadium is half empty on opening day...or worse...Jerry has to cut ticket prices to entice people to the stadium. Then we would have their attention.

Win, lose, or tie Jerry will receive about $298M in 2025 as the Cowboys share of NFL revenue and it typically goes up every year. Cheap coaching and not hiring a real GM just means more in his pocket.

I’ve been a fan since I was 13 and am old enough to have witnessed the Cowboys at their peak during their Super Bowl runs…and sadly have witnessed their mediocrity since.
I think most fans are apathetic, indifferent and just desensitized towards Jerry and Stephen’s shoddy management of the team; especially in the face of the ascension of other teams within the Division and the Conference.
I think most of us will express our displeasure with inflammatory posts, but recognize that things won’t change and hopes will be dashed; so we just carry-on and accept that nothing will change.

He’s a good coach, just as good as anyone else they could have hired
