Read the thread first. Then you’ll realize those were not the types of comments I was alluding to.

I did read your "don't ***** about draft picks" thread and responded with "fans can say what they want about draft picks" then you responded with "i wasn't talking about draft picks."

Has anyone else grown so very tired of all the *****ing and moaning on here about the team ownership/management decisions on a daily basis? The majority of posters hated the Jaylon Smith pick. How has that worked out? The majority hated the Vander Esch pick. How’s that worked out? Many, if not most, hated the Zeke pick. How’s that worked out? Most thought drafting Dak was a bad selection, even though it was a compensatory fourth round pick. How’s that worked out? The examples are endless and I could go on and on. Every NFL team makes decisions that work out well and some that fall flat. It’s not an exact science. However, far too many Dallas “fans” (I often question their true fandom) seem to think they know more about running an NFL franchise than our FO. It would be laughable if it wasn’t so pathetic. Some of you guys are wasting your imagined talents. You should quit your day jobs and start sending your resumes to various NFL teams. Afterall, you always know better than those actually running the world’s most valuable professional sports team. Right?

I know more than everyone cept those I don't.

You obviously didn’t read it. I said some posters make blanket statements like “the FO does not know how to conduct an NFL draft”, which is an asinine statement. I gave example of picks they made and were soundly criticized for that turned out great. No where did I say people couldn’t disagree with specific picks or have their favorites. I spoke about the overall general criticism of the FO.by posters that seem to think they’re all knowing.

No, I read it. You just don't like that I (like many others) find your post to be just useless whining. The point of having a fan forum is for opinions to be expressed. Your opinion that opinions should not be expressed is a bizarre and ridiculous one.

We should just have a meetup with all the members of cowboys zone somewhere and have one big fight. The mods could provide commentary and officiate. Maybe they could sell the idea to pay per view

It’s like a paradox wrapped in a conundrum with a oxymoron in its center. Some posters take themselves to seriously and have too much time on their hands.

I feel the same way kind of.

The Dallas Cowboys spend a lot of money on the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. They put in hard work and time to be perfect on game day.

But some of you want to come on here and mindlessly scream Go Cowboys no matter what is actually happening with the team.

Please just let the cheerleaders do their job; they're really good at it, possibly the most famous cheerleaders in the world. They do not need your Fan Boy help.

In all fairness, it wasn't all opinions he referred to, just select ones.

Fine, that's fair, but I do find it silly that he thinks some opinions should not be voiced. Plenty of people were worried that the Jaylon Smith pick would turn out to be a waste, and it very well could have. Plus, he wasn't available to help the team immediately, and that frustrated some people. I would say these were legitimate concerns at the time. I would not say someone should not voice them.

So if the Cowboys organization is so smart how come they haven't won a SB in 24 years?

This is the last comment I’ll make in this thread. You can throw out the snide remarks, the insults, or whatever. I just don’t care and won’t respond again. My comment obviously struck a nerve with many. I don’t know if it’s insecurity or a “I’ll say whatever I want to say and you can’t do anything about it” mindset. Many of you either won’t or can’t comprehend the point I was trying to make. Most of you just wanted to argue.

Regardless, my point was not to say posters shouldn’t have opinions or criticize FO decisions. No where did I say that. What I said is the generalizations thrown out claiming the FO is completely inept, does not have a clue how to run an NFL franchise, does not know how to run an NFL draft, Jerry must be drunk again, etc. is ridiculous. I used several draft picks as an example that the FO isn’t incompetent and gets things right more than they’re given credit for. In some instances, they’re never given any credit. That’s a ridiculous stance to take. We all want titles, but they’re hard to come by. A lot of luck is involved. San Fran hasn’t won a title since 1995 and they’re a legendary franchise, as much as it pains me to say. Draft picks are hit and miss and no one, including the teams making the picks, can be sure they’ll pan out. They (and we) can think they know and hope their picks pan out, but nothing is a sure thing. 32 teams missed on Tom Brady considering he dropped to the sixth round. 30 missed on Joe Montana (3rd round). 32 missed on Romo (undrafted). There’s hundreds of other examples.

Finally, everyone claimed they have a right to post their opinions. Yes, you do. So do I, and that’s what I did. If you read my original post, you’ll see I did not mention any names. All I did is ask if anyone else was tired of the completely negative posts. Those that were offended or pissed off obviously think the post was directed towards them. It wasn’t, but the responses were very telling. I’ll end by saying Cowboys for # 6! Fire away, but don’t expect a response because you won’t get one. I just wanted to set my position straight since it’s been greatly misconstrued throughout this thread and I’m done with it.

Fight? Over what? People can agree or disagree, but what I said is fact. We have a lot of posters that think they should be making decisions for an NFL franchise. It’s beyond laughable. I guess because I watch movies I should be Tom Cruise?
Yes I don't know the reason, many people take their opinion as fact. It baffles the brain how they can't distinguish the two. I have no problem debating opinions. That's why we're on this site.
