Yes he does. If you don't sign him to a long-term deal you have one unhappy player who I cannot see playing to a level required in terms of effort, so you are over-paying (last year of contract and franchise tagx2) for a player who will not perform at the same level as in the past. (That's if he actually does not sit out games). GM's can see what is going on. Meanwhile his agent (the best in the business) will get him the deal he wants from another team. I don't see him losing out financially.
It's all very well Jerry saying he has the player under contract for 3 seasons, but he wouldn't have the same player, just a very unhappy one.
Jerry has called this completely wrong.
Wrong
he'll lose his trade value if his stats go down. if he becomes a problem employee. a problem player .
Other teams won't offer as much he loses trade value by doing that and the fact that Jerry is going to dictate where he goes he'd be better not to be doing that like sandbagging, Yeah right,
you show me that player does that and the owner who has full control of the trade and where you go you end up in the worst situation ever because he'll trade you to the worst team in the AFC and he won't listen to any other trades...
Don't want to have this become that personal, it's not ,this is Jerry versus the agent this is not Jerry versus Parsons...
parsons and Jerry have a very good relationship jerry just hates this particular agent, that's the problem, you're trying to tell me that a player with this much fire and passion is going to sandbag games because he's upset at contract negotiations...
I can tell you this he's sandbag games fakes injuries, and all that jerry will send them to the ends of the earth on the worst team ever.... Make sure that team knows the situation and you think they're gonna want to pay a guy $43 million a year that's doing this to his current team?
I don't see parsons doing that I just don't.. Still see a deal getting done you think a trade is going to happen it's not happening It's definitely not happening before the season starts....
How is that Prescott played on the franchise tag he had no problems he didn't demand a trade he didn't become this public he had an agent he had a big agency take care of both his contracts never missed practices didn't do any holdouts never resorted to any of this this is more to do with the agent and the agents advice is steering Parsons into the middle of all this mess and it's not have anything to do with him..
So I doubt he's gonna sandbag games because of his agent you know what he can do fire this agent like T higgins did get a new agent and within 48 hours Jerry probably gives him everything he asked for it and more just like Prescott basically owned Jerry...
Made Jerry pay for him having to wait but he did it quietly He did it like a leader with high character this agent doesn't have any of that and he's making Parsons look bad...
