First, let me say I wasnt trying to crush the mock.
Fan speak and other trade enabled drafts make it hard not to trade down. But trading down often gives you a weird unreal draft class.
I did it a couple hundred times last off-season
Your class has very good depth and longer term growth potential as you'd expect stacking up picks in the top 100 but outside the elite group.
Doctson probably is better than TWill but he's not healthy and doesn't know the offense and doesn't block as well. Once he gets healthy he has to regain strength and stamina and all that.
Dallas probably wouldn't start him over TWill in 2016 tho 2017 TWill would likely be gone and he runs with position.
Booker... See above. DMC is starting next year unless injured. DMC can be trusted to block and his running is of ZERO ISSUE. There is this weird thought he is just some spare but that's complete garbage. He was the leagues 4th leading rusher starting 10 games. Dallas isn't bumping DMC even if they did draft Elliot. The 2nd RB will get more snaps than the guys last year if they trust them but this coaching staff is very reticent to make changes.
Booker, like Doctson, would get that chance in 2017 if DMC didn't want another cheap deal and why would he coming off a season where he finally lived up to his physical traits.
Garrett was hesitant to promote DMC over Randle... can you imagine how he will feel about a rookie?
And no, I do not think either of those CB can be the 3rd CB day 1. Not by design. Perhaps by injury.
They'd almost certianly just move BJones there first and let him play hybrid safety/slot. --may be his long-term future anyways. .
Sanchez had major struggles at OU at times. He competes but he isn't ready for day 1 NFL action.
Neither guy excites me but both are decent picks for long term return.
If NFL teams believed those guys were capable of playing CB3 day 1 they will be drafted higher than round 3.
If Dallas loses both Mo and Carr they gotta make bigger plays than R3 guys.
CB has become critical in this league.
