Fast Food Guilty Pleasures

I like gas station food on occasion too. Around here most of our convenience stores are Stripes and they all have a little glass kiosk with all types of exotic delicacies. You can get a heat lamp fried chimichanga, a day old egg roll, jumbo taquitos, a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, churros, and a soggy pre-sauced pulled pork sandwich at any hour of the day. There's also always a jar of Big Johns red hot pickled sausages and whole pickled jalapenos on the counter next to the kiosk to further their accoutrements.

Firehouse Subs has a new Cuban BBQ sub that I absolutely love. In fact, I just ate one. So good. It's supposedly a limited time thing.

Every 3 or 4 months I go to mcDonalds and eat 4 filet of fish. It never gets old. One time a co-worker bet me I couldn’t eat 10 filet o fish in a half hour. I bet him $100 that not only could I eat them, I could eat them in 10 minutes. We split the cost of the sangwitches, then he paid me my $100 bucks.

When I do go to McDonalds the fish sandwich is always my go to as well.

For whatever reason, Taco Bell has those frozen smoothie drinks DOWN. I think they change the flavors by season, but whatever they have on hand usually totally kicks butt.

About once a month I stop by Taco Cabana and get one of their Cabana Bowls, usually the picadillo but sometimes fajita chicken. Get some extra of their fresh salsa and mix it in, pretty tasty.

There is an Arby's about a mile from where I live. Still can't go inside, so the drive-thru line is usually backed up because of that. Worst part is they close at 7 PM because of staffing, but their roast beef sandwiches are great.

Gimme your fast food guilty pleasures. You know, those things you know better not to eat. It doesn’t mean you have to eat it with regularity but that you always get it on the occasions you visit these joints.

Here’s mine….Jack in the Box tacos.

Something about the way the cheese compliments the ground cat meat does it for me. These things have been selling for 2 for $.99 as long as I can remember. I used to crush these on late nights when I was a teen and my metabolism was like a buzzsaw.

These are definitely mine as well. It's a 5 hour drive for me to get one though.
