If a S is BPA at #4 or #5 pick, you give it strong consideration. Bell and Coyle and others are still really unknown at S, and as I mentioned, the 2 expiring contracts.

There will be a group of players BPA in the fourth or fifth. Our depth at S says take another position unless somehow that S is just clearly head and shoulders better than every other position we could take. Fourth or fifth (just for example), I'd take a kicker over a safety, and I don't want to take a kicker in the fourth.

Only interesting safety IMO is Branch. He's amazing. Any other safety we would draft would be ST only. Very thin class.

That is just it, you don’t know. You make the best selection at the time as to what you think is right to help the most.
However when Taco was selected they did not go BPA, They went for need more so.
Now with McClay, they lean more towards BPA Regardless.

consider, maybe but again some safety's wing in the wings and another draft for 24.. they would take up a roster space for non need now..so im out don't draft any safety's..also NO DEs and really rather pass on a TE but if Dynamic cant miss projected generational TE comes to us , MAYBE, but im thinki g2023 is were we should be filling holes for.

Safety is the least of my concerns.


Dallas needs a playmaker with their first pick.

If they choose to pick a offensive lineman like Wright from Tennessee I’d be ok with that too.

When the line does its job, the guys behind them can make plays.

Our biggest weaknesses are at interior oline and dline. That's the place to draft.

I get it, you don’t want to take a S regardless if he is head and shoulders better than a DT that is there, but may be a bust or sit the bench. Because we need to see what the players have in front of him. That is the theory I am getting you have. Go for need.

What if the next Micah Parsons is there. Would you pass because you don’t think you need another elite pass rusher. And you take a lesser player at another position?

Dallas lucked out on Micah Parsons. Dallas drafted him to be a linebacker.

This roster definitely needs more corners than safeties.
Might be a couple of UDFA safeties brought in but other than an outright steal dropping in their laps, there will be no safety drafted, deepest position on this entire roster .

I cant believe what im saying right now, but.... I think we are really good at SS/FS.

I'm more pumped about our SS position than FS. I'm not sure if we have a deep center fielder we can rely on behind hooker.

For once we are pretty deep with our safeties & hybrids but it has been looking likely to me for weeks that a very good "secondary" player (non CB) could fall to our pick. I mean if he's BPA, you gotta consider it.
