I would draft a quarterback, every single season anywhere from fifth round on. You just never know what you might acquire
Seems like a wasted pick to me
What are the odds of you hitting on a QB in rounds 5-7? And how would you know if you hit after just one year anyway. It’s not like the 3rd QB is gonna get that many snaps to even judge in one camp

Anywhere from 3rd, for a guy like Hall, to 7th if you consider guys like Duggan.

My two pet cats are Jaren Hall and Jake Haener.

QB will never be addressed with Jerral. He thinks Dak looks good in the shower. He thought Aikman did too but Aikman could hit receivers in stride and in small windows.
With Dak, the receivers have to be able to do acrobatics within a 15 yard radius to catch any of his passes.

Oh, this isn't a Dak hate thread? Oh well.

I know the Cowboys have several positions to address (RB, WR, OL and DT), but I wouldn't mind if they picked QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson (DTR) at the end of Round 3.

we are not drafting a quarterback. Jerry will find some undrafted kid who will not pressure dak. this guy will be one in a year after this one. Please don't pressure dak, he doesn't handle pressure well. Jerry better come out with some big-time praise of the quack before the season starts or his confidence will be in the gutter.

Tom Brady, Tony Romo, Prescott. And I’m sure there’s many others.

well find some old veteran who's long past his prime and sign him. The guy won't be able to beat out Rush and will retire next year. Please no pressure

Lol
Thousands of late round QB’ and you can name a dozen or so who actually made it in the league
They also weren’t replaced after one year either. You can’t draft a QB every year without cutting one every year

I wasn’t trying to be funny. I’m simply stating how many sixth seventh round picks are still on the team. Or any team for that matter. What’s wrong with taking a chance again you never know. you don’t have to cut a quarterbac when you replace it you could cut anybody. Don’t agree with me. That’s fine but don’t be rude.

I’m all for taking a shot if a guy is there you really like just like Romo. But you can’t do it every year. You find a guy and then you have to give him a couple to three years to develop
