The one thing I am glad of is that the kid that got slammed wasn't dumped on his head or partially on that wall.
I had a friend in HS (James) who was a brainiac. He was the kid who won science fairs and spelling bees. He was on the chess team, had a fancy Hewlett Packard calculator on his belt and a poket protector for his pens. The classic nerd. In fact we joked that Carradine's character in Revenge of the Nerds was modeled on James.
He got picked on a lot and he took it every time. One day this tough kid named Roy tried to throw him in a mud puddle and James beat the living crap out of Roy.
Several of Roy's friends acted like they were going to jump in but me and a couple of friends warned them to stay out of it and they did.
James got a lot more respect after that because Roy was no punk. To this day Roy will tell you that was the worst butt whooping he ever took.
