Yeah, that's probably a good assumption. Some commentors are actually criticizing him for slamming the bully too hard. Too bad.

The one thing I am glad of is that the kid that got slammed wasn't dumped on his head or partially on that wall.

I had a friend in HS (James) who was a brainiac. He was the kid who won science fairs and spelling bees. He was on the chess team, had a fancy Hewlett Packard calculator on his belt and a poket protector for his pens. The classic nerd. In fact we joked that Carradine's character in Revenge of the Nerds was modeled on James.

He got picked on a lot and he took it every time. One day this tough kid named Roy tried to throw him in a mud puddle and James beat the living crap out of Roy.

Several of Roy's friends acted like they were going to jump in but me and a couple of friends warned them to stay out of it and they did.

James got a lot more respect after that because Roy was no punk. To this day Roy will tell you that was the worst butt whooping he ever took.

I had that happen about the age of 5 the kid kept picking on me. One day he got out of a swing I got in it and a few minutes later he came up and that is my swing blah blah. I said you left and I got it now. I was nice about it but he was all mad i had the swing and tried to hit me again. I finally hit the breaking point so I proceeded to kick his ever loving arse; I let out all that built of rage of getting picked on by him including physically being beatup. It was :chop: i left him in a curled up ball laying on the ground crying I mean it was a 5+ minute beat down by me even with him laying on the ground whimpering.

When i was done I just walked home told my mom she was like ok son. Later his mom showed up at the door and started saying something to my mom and she said good the little beep deserved it and shut the door in her face.

Here is a lesson I learned about standing up for oneself.

Every day the school bully would harass me and "borrow" money. Sometimes he'd take my books and throw them in the river.
This went on for almost the entire school year.

Then one day I decided I had enough.
I stood up to him.
he beat me savagely.
Then I had to flee and desert my family and change my name in the winless protection plan in Farmers Branch.
I never forgot that lesson.
Sometimes it is better to flee than to be punched ever day.
