Hauer once played in a little movie called Blind Fury (I think in the late '80s or early '90s). He portrayed a Vietnam vet, who was blinded in the war and was trained in the art of sword fighting. It doesn't have a lot of great acting in it, but it's a very good heartwarming film with some GOOD action. I would highly recommended if you've never seen it.
